One of the nicest and most comfortable B & B's we've stayed in. Our room was ready alot earlier than we'd hoped so we got straight into our comfy too . Hottest breakfast I've ever had! Would defo go back

Spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast, first class hosts. A wonderful period building. Ideally situated for an easy walk into town. We would be more than happy to stay there again for future visits.

Owners were extremely helpful, organising taxis and giving directions. Accomodation was very clean. Very nice breakfast. Would stay again. Traffic noise a little bit noisy in the morning from room at front of hotel but not a major problem.

Brookfield is 20 min from city, quite convenient for shopping in town. Brookfield gives me a warm feeling, just like home. the breakfast is excellent. Helpful and friendly proprietor. The only thing I didn;t like is the mattress. It is too soft and not balance on two sides.

Near centre, county cricket ground and railway station (nowhere's far in Taunton). Good breakfast. Smart bathroom. Owners keen to please and help. Bed a bit soft for my taste.

Very pleasant stay with friendly owners and superb cooked to order breakfasts. Rooms at the rear of the property probably best as the busy Wellington Road at the front could be too noisy from some people. Nothing although a good 15-20 min walk to the station.

The rooms and the property itself were spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, there were clean towels both days which we did not expect. I guess that the proprietors are not aiming for a gourmet experience, but that said, the food was good. We would go back there if we wanted another stay in Taunton. Recommend for both holidaymakers and business travellers. Car parking. There was adequate space even though I undersatnd the hotel was full during our visit. But it was fiddly getting in and out onto the main road. There was a lot of road noise during the day, but you are in the city centre and ona main trunk route (A38), but it dropped at night to be relatively quiet - we slept ok with the window open in the front of the hotel.

Immaculate rooms, superb breakfast and friendly staff. We have stayed in 5*+ hotels that have not been as clean and breakfast no where near as good. Little bit noisy with traffic at the front of the hotel, but it did not spoil our stay in anyway and we wanted to be near the centre of town. From the point of view of shopping and getting around, it was an excellent location. Within 10 minutes you are in the countryside. Large supermarket within 5 minutes walk.

Nice clean family run service. Staff were pleasent and very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Overall good score. Windows are not double glazed and consequently fair amount of traffic noise (it is on a busy dual carriage-way) and paedistrian noise (people returning from pubs and city centre) caused some disturbences.

A very nice, comfortable room, with an excellent breakfast. The gentleman of the house was very pleasant,and the accommodation suited us for the reason we were there. A day at Taunton races.
