We enjoyed our stay overall, but felt frustrated at times by the lack of attention to detail that was demonstrated by the staff.
Service in the bar/terrace was slow
Chicken Ceaser salad was dry and unedible, the restaurant manager did apologise and replaced it, which was appreciated, but it should not have been sent out in the first place as it didnt even look appetising.
Our room mini bar had not been replenshed and there was half drunk bottle of water in there which didn't create a good impression..
There were only 4 milk cartons left for us, which we used in the afternoon and asked to be replenshed with the water when we went out for the evening, but when we returned we had only been left 2 cartons which seemed really silly, we phoned down to reception and they bought us some more very quickly, but these little things when they add up get really frustrating and tarnish the whole experience you have treated yourself to, as this is not a cheap stay.
When we settled our bill we had been overcharged at the bar by £13.50 - which again was quickly rectified, but it seems nothing went right, first time in terms of service.
Location, Comfort and Amenities.
Would definatley recommend a race track view room as it was exciting to watch the cars speeding round the track.
