I liked the friendly staff especially the breakfast waitress who was exetremley friendly and polite. The bathrooms were a bit small and in need of updating.

Location excellent for everything. Breakfast was excellent. Our room smelt of damp bathrooms and was quite unpleasant. In fact the clothes we didn't wear had to be washed when we came home as they smelt so much. Room was clean, but bathroom was very dated and didn't smell very nice, which permeated into the bedroom.

The room was to small for 2 people. The en suite was a tight squeeze even for us who are of smaller build. Parking and location ideal. Breafast service was good. Sink around the taps needed a good clean The room was far too small.

All members of staff were helpful and friendly. Apart from the hill the Brooklands is ideally situated for the beach, shopping centre and park. Walking up the hill after a tiring day walking around all the shops. (In truth the hill isn't that big)

We have been to many hotels in the area thought we would try this the one's we have stayed in before were full or we didn't like to stay there again, but the Brooklands we found great. Yes if you did look into things which to me are very minor problems are not worth mentioning what we look for in a hotel this one ticked all the box's and we would stay again it was great, Staff good location good vey clean, food great quiet nights sleep never a problem with anything what more do you need and price was Ok.

Everything was good until during our stay something happened in the hotel and from the second day of our staying there was no hot water and heating. It was awfuly cold and we couldn't wash. The good thing was that they gave us free guest pass to Marriot Hotel so we can wash

The owner Jackie is lovely, welcoming and makes you feel like you're at home. Jackie and her staff were always available to answer questions and make recommendations. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Brooklands is an easy walk into the town center and minutes to the beautiful Bournemouth beaches. Great location! Oh and breakfast is perfect too. I highly recommend this little gem.

Quite room. Nice TV and well designed welcome/information pack. Good room service. When making a choice to stay in the hotel I was mostly influenced by the photos displayed on hotel's website. Hats off to the photographer! Sadly the reality was different. The room had a rather patchy walls and sign of mould in the bathroom. Equipment (except for the TV) was rather ancient, old carpet with a massive stain in a middle of the room. When having a shower I could tell that it was not cleaned properly after the previous guests.

Good amount of breakfast for price. Tasteful decor for standard of hotel. Friendly staff. Cups were dirty on arrival-oversight by cleaners! Hair on bed (just head hair), shower gel packet on floor behind loo. Once again just cleaners being less than thorough/rushing maybe, nothing too offensive.
