Very good,

“The price- we booked at short notice and it was very cheap. Also, there were plenty of pillows, the bed was comfortable and the hotel bar was still open when we returned from our party at 2am.”

The location was perfect for my own requirements and those of my elderly mother with slight mobility problems. Very quiet, spacious, ground floor twin room (space important for co-travellers who are not a couple!) and with plenty of seating and surfaces, sizeable bathroom, very convenient parking. Friendly, helpful staff, pleasant breakfast arrangements. I would use Brooklands Grange again.

A relaxing hotel convenient to Birmingham Airport, Coventry City and surrounding villages & countryside. A lovely change from the modern and impersonal hotels. Would stay there again.

We stayed on the night of 10th December. The hotel was very quiet, in fact we were the only ones in the bar and dining room. However the staff were exremely friendly and curteous and copuld not do enough for us. We would certainly stay there agin when next in that area. We were very impressed.

Top flight three star hotel. I have stayed in lots of hotels and Brooklands Grange is at the top of the 3* league. The room furniture was in excellent condition, well equipped and the en-suite bathroom was a fair size and also nice and clean. Although on a main road, it is well set back and the room was completely quiet. Decent size tv and all the small things that make a short stay easy, rather than a strain. It is impossible to criticize for the price I paid and for its three star status.

The proximity to a party that 8 of us were attending and the hotel was very clean. The price for three rooms was fantastic. We were a family of 8 with 4 children so returned early (21:30)from the party to have a drink in the bar. The member of staff present told us the barman had gone home because the hotel had recently gone into administration. She refused to serve us as she said she wasn't trained. I complained the next day ad was told by the duty manager that although the hotel had gone into administaration, we had clearly been lied to because the young lady should have served us. Very poor situation when the duty manager calls one of her staff a liar. Even worse is that she lied to us because she couldn't be bothered to serve us. The staff are obviously hacked off as it looks like their jobs aren't safe. Do not stay here if you expect to be treat like a paying customer and especially if you want a drink in the hotel bar. Would not recommend this hotel purely because of the poor staff. Oh, one other thing, our breakfast was included in the price but if it wasn't, I would have complained about the portion size for the price. I will say though, it was tasty but not worth paying for.

Large room, large en suite bath. Back from street, little or no street noise. Dinner at restaurant was good, not gourmet, but good value with fish and vegetables properly cooked. Very firm bed, perhaps a bit too firm for us.

The room was very clean and comfortable with free tea and coffee, wireless internet, freeview TV and complimentary toiletries. The parking was also free. The decor in the bathroom was a little shabby (but very clean) and it was hard to control the shower temperature on the mixer tap.

We booked in easily and were happy with the facilities and cleanliness of our room. We have ticked both city and countryside boxes as although the hotel is an easy ride into Coventry City we actually spent the afternoon walking along nearby country footpaths. For us it was the best of both worlds. We liked all aspects of the hotel and thought that the gardens didn't do the hotel justice. There are a few tables outside and the view would be enhanced with some hedge pruning and anda couple of tubs of bright geraniums.

Staff were great and very courteous. Service was excellent. Hotel room was clean and tidy. We very much Enjoyed our stay, as did our friends who also stayed at the hotel. A small gripe - Unable to position shower head correctly. Shower head needs a more secure holder as pressure of water meant it was forced to one side causing it to spray beyond the shower curtain and over the Walls and floor.

The price- we booked at short notice and it was very cheap. Also, there were plenty of pillows, the bed was comfortable and the hotel bar was still open when we returned from our party at 2am. There was no main light in the room and the main lamp was broken. We booked a wake up call but didnt receive it as there was no phone in the room [we didnt notice until the next morning]. Minor things really though, especially as it was so cheap.

I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the room was quiet. It is convenient to walk into Coventry centre and also on a bus route. It is also on a bus route to the nec, so I may stay again and save on nec parking charges. There was a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee and biscuits. There was a bath and shower. There was a flatscreen tv. The room was very clean, with fresh towels every day. I would have liked the option to not have fresh towels every day, thus saving on energy. There wasn't a vegan option with either the breakfast of evening meal menus.

We loved the location and the tranquility. The breakfast was good but did not see why we had to book a room inc breakfast as my husband never gets up for breakfast and felt that we should have had the option to not pay for something unneccessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but felt that the reception staff could have been as friendly to us as they seemed to be to the other guests. No hello, no greeting and when we tried to make conversation, well lets just say we shouldn't have bothered. Breakfast staff were great as were the cleaners.

Second time we've stayed and we would go back again. This time the staff seemed a little tired and jaded so the friendly personal service had slipped a little but it could be put down to just a bad day. It's a nice clean comfortable hotel and I would recommend it.
