Our hotel was overbooked, so we stayed at Ashtrees Guest house nearby. The swich was arranged by staff. All my reviews reffer to Ashtrees Guest house. The location is close to city centre (30 min. slow walk) in quiet and nice part of the city. Room was very small. |

Clean and comfortable rooms. Fans were good in the hot weather. Breakfast was ordinary - Continental breakfast is more than cereal/toast! |

Staff very helpful and accomodating, adjusted our breakfast requirements to suit a member of the parties dietary needs. Website states collection from the station and drop offs possible. This is no longer provided, website needs updating. |

The Room was very comfortable and clean, staff were friendly but seemed a little disinterested, we were not told where to find anybody to ask any questions The 7.30 to 8.30 breakfast time was too short, could have been better extended to 9 or 9.30 |

Brooklands Guest House offered us a very comfortable stay and its location is conveniently close to the city centre. We stayed there for 1 night, celebrating our wedding anniversary and we have to congratulate Michelle on the way she has decorated her place. Unfortunately yes - the "continental breakfast" was definitely not as we know it, as it only consisted of cereal, toast and coffee. |

The room was very clean and beautiful. Breakfast was served nice and was very good. Wireless internet was also quick and easy to use. As I was staying in January it was pretty cold in the room. The radiator was on full heat but the cold wind blew through the window. |

It was close enough to the city centre. if you stay for one night then it might be okay but you stay longer as we did for 9 nights then we got, room not cleaned, dirty towels folded again as if new, no toilet paper, cups and glasses not changed, and if you complain you get told "I don't understand why you are making a fuss". As I had fully paid, on the 7th night I said I wanted to move and I was told I could go but no refund. |

The room was clean and bed comfortable On arrival, we couldn't get in as noone was there on the friday evening at 9pm. So, my partner had to phone the number on the sign and was told abruptly that they were not there but gave us the security code to enter. The room's decoration was unpleasant and very dated. The hotel parking was also the vets' carpark! |

The breakfast was OK. We arrived on a wet Sunday afternoon to a locked guest house. Phoned and was given the code to open the door. We found our room - the smallest we've ever seen - nowhere to sit except on the beds. Toilet and shower the size of a small wardrobe. No guest facilities, didn't see a soul until breakfast. Tariff the highest on our week of staying in guest houses/B and B charged extra for credit card |

It was a tidy room and the size of the room and arrangements were nice. When I first arrived at the hotel, it seemed the man did not care either ways about my arrival. He just wanted to give me the keys and go back to whatever he was doing. There is room for improvement in terms of hospitality during the first encounter. |

Due to my wife's disability a room on the ground floor was offered but a very small room with a double bed but not sufficient space for the price. This room should be used as a single room with a single bed but not offer as a double. |

The Castle is a stylish and friendly bar, restaurant and B&B in Cambridge's historical centre. It is close to the university colleges and the punts on the River Cam. |
This bed and breakfast offers comfortable accommodation at great-value rates, which include a continental breakfast to enjoy in the comfort and privacy of your room. No. |
This brand new hotel offers great value, with bright, modern, air-conditioned rooms and free parking, just 3 miles (5 km) from Cambridge city centre and only metres from the A14. |
