Well located (5 minute walk from the train station), friendly staff, lovely room with very beautiful and comfortable four-post bed, romantically decorated. Highly recommended. The basin was lovely, but a bit difficult to use (separated cold and hot water taps). The stairs leading to the room are quite steep.

Very friendly welcome, nice and clean room. To much noise in the very early morning and late night about other guest coming or leaving. English breakfast to pay extra was too expensive for a very poor and cold dish.

Booked the room July 28th. Received a text message on day of arrival that we couldn't stay at the guest house and they had booked us at another guest house - operated by the same manager, which turned out to be dirty with a strong smell of mold. No privacy when travelling with a collegue as the toilet was in a cabinet and the same for the shower!

location room and the bathroom were clean, 1.payment for booking was not taken straightaway when a reservation was made a few months before 2.there was a lack of welcoming atmosphere upon arrival, a staff member was rude to me in explaining that we were unable to use our room at 10 am as it was not clean yet 3.it was confirmed to me online that I will be able to book in between 8am and 10 am. In fact, rooms were not ready even after 10 am. 4.the room and the bathroom were very small. I stayed in a double room which in fact would be suitable for just one person 5.full English breakfast was not included in the price . It is very unusual to be asked to pay extra for it. There should be a better choice and access to continental breakfast options.

The beds were comfortable, the staff was helpful but did not get too personal with you (poking noses into your stuff, they were just there to help when needed). You can come and go as you please - unlocking the door either by key or by pass code. Internet speed was awesome, rooms were cute. You could eat enough at breakfast. Really quiet. The location is by my standards a bit too much out of town for the price they were charging. The breakfast was not getting any different day by day - so don't stay for longer then 3-4 days because of this.

The room was comfortable and the location was ideal for our needs at the weekend - a few minutes walk from the college where my partner's son graduated and a good bus route to central Cambridge. The main road location (I had a front room) made sleep difficult - the road was busy throughout the night and early hours. Also, the bath was an awkward shape and rather small - I am 6'4" tall and my partenr is 5'10" and we both had problems. The hot water system could not cope with demand in the mornings.

Guest house very quiet, breakfast ok We rent 3 bedrooms with "baldaquin". We are still looking for the baldaquin!! The beds were ok but the soap for the bath were scarse and one room should be advertising as a room for dwarf people (no more than 1.5 meter high!!

The owner was very helpful in lending me her laptop when I couldn't get my WiFi to work in Brooklands. The room was very elegant. Unfortunately, we had to skip breakfast because we had to leave early to catch the 6:55 am bus to London so can't comment about the breakfast. Brooklands is on a busy street, but one can get by with ear plugs for the night. Also, it's a bit of a walk into the centre, but the railway station and coach stop are reasonably close.

I arrived late so I had to self check-in. when I get to my room I felt like that I am on a doll's house, was very tight and very small. next day they changed my room because I complained to another lovely double room. I liked the hotel decorations all over the hotel. tight space.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Since when did a continental breakfast comprise of toast, orange juice, some alpen and a banana yoghurt from asda? I rate B&Bs on their breakfast and unfortunately this didnt cut it for me.

Stanza e servizi piccoli e scomodi
