General staff attitude, location, decor, roof caravans, breakfast...generally a smart hotel in a smart place
What's not to?!
The whole look and feel of the place was great
The friendliness and professionalism of the staff coupled with the restful decor and comfort of the bedroom and public areas created a delightful stay for 2 nights. Great breakfast that accommodated a wide choice.
Location was excellent. Decor clean and well maintained. Breakfast cooked to order with some choice.
No chest of drawers nor wardrobe. Room a little small. Hangers around wall which would be annoying if there for more than one night. A little awkward to get to as no dedicated parking nearby. Discounted multi storey which would be too tight for large cars.
Location, staff were more than helpful
The size of the king size room.
Everything...can't fault it...brilliant location and fab staff!
The room was very warm...especially at night!
Very nice and helpfull staff. Nice breakfast. Centrally located. Very quiet.
Very weak WIFI.
Modern interior design and very cute. Brooks is so well placed to enjoy central Bristol and access travel to other cities and towns.
The room was just too small with very limited space to move around. The bathroom was exceptionally tiny, I really do not know how a larger person would fit in the shower.
Location was good
The room was very dark as faced a wall, so there was no natural light. Do not book this hotel expecting the same quality at the Brooks guesthouse in Bath.
Staff, breakfast and location
Wifi isn't great.
Spacious room and bathroom, great beds and linen, fab location, Can't say anything bad about Brooks.
Great location next to the market, stylish decor, friendly helpful staff.
It's all good!
Beds comfy, staff friendly.
Friendly staff Good car parking arrangement with near NCP car park (reduced cost) Only a few minutes walk to the river or floating harbour and the Hippodrome.
Room was rather small (ok for a couple of nights stay but wouldn't have liked to have stayed longer) Plenty of coat hanging hooks but no wardrobe.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Clean hotel, central location and good value for money.
Noise from St Nicholas covered market nearby, early in the morning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay in one of the cosy rooftop rockets. It definitely lived up to it's reviews and the complimentary prosecco & chocolates were a nice touch. The location is second to none and we'll certainly be returning.
Due to time of year our rocket was quite cold.
Great location - easy access to nightlife & subsequent requisite hangover blt - friendly service - good walking tour suggestions, chatty housekeeping who says a genuine good morning & hip vibe - airstreams on the roof!
Seeing all my clothes hung up on hooks vs wardrobe
Clean, comfortable, very helpful and freindly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Right in the centre, but quiet at night. I would stay here again.
Really friendly welcome, beautiful rooms, really comfortable stay.
Decor, being on the ground floor
Having to walk through the dining room to get anywhere but then I guess that was because we had downstairs room No bath
Fab place to stay! Great location and quirky! Will definitely book here again next time in Bristol!
Friendly receptionist. Lovely decor, really like the shutters. Beautiful building and old market nextdoor. Compact, cute and cosy.
Rooms are a little small for loads of luggage which is why there are hooks around the walls, which sounds bad but looks good. Very nice decor.
Very kind Porter
Noise from the water pipes at night
I have visited many hotels that are inferior to this "guesthouse". Ok, so they don't do meals other than breakfast but the breakfast is handmade in front of your very eyes. There is a very comfortable "common room", garden, patio, pleasant reception area, gated entrance, etc. and it is in the heart of Bristol in the old market area. The room that we stayed in was quite small but very agreeable. Everything was clean. Linen good quality and substantial pillows. Comfy bed. Controllable warmth. Toiletries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even two biscuits were supplied in the room. The towels were of good quality. The staff very efficient, friendly, polite and an absolute delight. This has to be the best write-up that I have given to any "hotel". A refreshing delightful establishment.
I love a jolly good moan but in this instance the only moan that I have is that I can't think of anything to moan about!
