I come to Bolton to visit friends and I needed a hotel with en-suite facilities at a reasonable price with breakfast included. Broomfield House fitted all the above. I was pleased that it was clean and presented a friendly atmosphere as well. Does not seem suitable for disabled guests but I did book short notice so no complaints really.. None

I had a single room at the Broomfield and stayed for just one night. it is the nearest hotel to Rumworth Hall. The room was very good and comfortable and had everything I needed, shower, kettle, tea, coffee etc television. Also a car park. The breakfast was excellent.

Originally booked double room but my wife chose not to come so they offered a single and reduction in price. They did not have to do this. Breakfast was good with good service. Limited public space, says it has wifi which was one of the reasons for selection but reception was variable and non existent in my room.

If you want luxury, go somewhere else and pay for it. If you want a tidy room with a TV and clean shower and toilet, an excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful proprietors at a great price, this is the place to go. Just a short bus or taxi ride from the centre of town or a 15 minute walk. Great value!

It was well situated for our needs, it was great value for money and a hearty breakfast was included in the price. Car parking is a bit limited; on the night we stayed there were a number of other guests in residence, which meant we had to park on the road. Perhaps the parking bays could be altered to make better use of available space, which might help a bit.

Efficient staff. Good breakfast. Fair value for money. Available parking. Comfortable bed. Weak water pressure in shower and slow to warm up. Thin walls - could hear next door occupant snoring!

I stayed for two nights on a golfing trip. I arrived late on the first night but the staff were very accomodating. The breakfast was superb. The Hotel offered parking. Overall it was exceptional value for money. I stayed in a single room and while it was comfortable, it was quite small.

The friendly staff, the welcome, the cleanliness, the location being on a bus route, near enough to town and the breakfasts. The shower was too small and the bed nearest the door in room 102 had springs I could feel! You need a new matress.

Helpful, friendly staff; excellent freshly-cooked breakfast; Wifi genuinely worked very easily; car-park visible from road. Bedrooms and bathrooms nicely cleaned. Proprietors unusually helpful regarding takeaway food - offered cutlery/crockery in bar, lounge or bedroom (though we didn't do this). Comfortable bed. All was as it ought to be! I have booked to stay here again next time we visit Bolton although it is not the most central. Our double room was a bit cramped, minimal wardrobe space. Fine for one night.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Very good location. Great breakfast. Bedrooms are not well insulated from noise and traffic and noisy guests could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Wireless internet is available and advertised but is so poor that it is effectively useless for most applications.
