Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with staff who were happy to help.
Loved the tapas & wine, hotel and the gardens were just enchanting. I love my art and it's a great way to introduce my 4yr old wandering around the gardens.
Extremely helpful staff. Very good evening meal.
Lovely room/breakfast/staff and the gardens and wonderful
food at dinner was terrible
Stayed two nights. Room was spacious. Lunches, dinner and breakfasts were all tasty and plentiful. Gardens were huge and contained a multitude of sculptures. We spent an afternoon wandering around and taking photos.
Room facilities and surrounds were a bit dated and maintenance could be better
Wonderful location, art, peace, lovely staff and terrific cuisine.
Loved the artwork, the house, the bedroom and the food.
The parking was a bit tricky
Broomhill is a lovely hotel with a great sculpture garden and organizer of a yearly competition. The room was excellent, the staff professional and the food was very nice. It was a real surprise!
The staff were so friendly and helpful towards me and my boyfriend in helping organise taxis etc. the room was small but beautiful and the gardens and reception were clean and attractive!
Unfortunately we were unable to see much of the hotel as we went to a concert that didn't finish till late (2am) so it was literally go in sleep and leave at check out. But it was still very lovely xx
This was a lovely hotel with the added bonus of all the artworks around the gardens. The staff were attentive and friendly & breakfast was delicious - would definitely stay again.
I had a separate bathroom on the landing overlooking the bar - felt a little exposed at times but it was fine.
all the sculptures modern rooms good food
our room went to the back of the house - no view, but silent
Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Helpful pleasant staff. We ate dinner here on both evenings we stayed because the food was so good. Lovely breakfast also.
Can't think of any problems.
Great for lovers of art
A unique hotel in a beautiful setting offering clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with a wow factor. Very friendly and efficient staff, We just wish we could have stayed longer!
Food Welcome Sculpture Garden
We liked the roominess in our bedroom and the good beds
My rating on the hotel overall and on its value for money is based largely on its food : 1. Breakfast was very poor - it was extreme tardiness to offer streaky bacon and no sausages in what was supposed to be a "full English breakfast". 2. No effort made to keep the cooked food warm. It was put out on warm platters and just left there. 3. Breakfast between 9 - 9.15 only : it might suit the hotel and it says a lot about their attitude to their guests, but it is not really acceptable. 4. Dinner was grossly overpriced for what was served - I think the main course has to be among the two poorest, most miserly offerings I have ever received.
Liked the general theme of the place, food was very good, loved all the sculptures and spent an afternoon looking at them. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
The general condition of the rooms was disappointing. Comfort was not really good, maintenance was not up to the standard one expects of a good B&B
On arrival lovely young lady full of smiles that's always good when you can trust you staff to make a good impression its in the most beautiful setting lovely big room and the tapas was to die for ! food very good again if you appreciate good food gardens and of coarse the art work you will love it very nice indeed .. we would recommend this hotel 100% lovely settings
the spiders in the bathroom but that's just ME!
Great staff, lovely location? Excellent food
Gluten free breakfast
The situation in the sculpture garden is magnificent. The restaurant served very nice locally sources food too.
Not very accessible on foot
fantastic venue, great food and really friendly hosts, a hidden gem.
A wonderful place to stay. The location;art out of this world; extensive grounds with stunning statues; great food; very friendly staff who are always eager to please;very comfortable bedroom. Very clean. Highly recommended.
Could not fault it!!
Selection of cereals & fruits
The hot breakfast; bacon, eggs, toast etc, doesn't really work putting it out in reception (a lot of it was cold). Would be better cooked to order.
