fan very noisy in bathroom

Excellent staff and value for money

Rooms need refurbishing especially windows and bathroom

Location was 2 min from my familys home so was ideal for the xmas holidays, but there are cheaper hotels in the city for better value for money and a receptionist.

The broughton was ok for what it was, bathroom had mould near the shower areas, and bed sheets and towels were not changed daily. Customer service was poor, no clear signage to where the reception of the hotel was, so had to go through the bar, when I got to the reception desk nobody was there at all, wondered around in the hallway managed to find a member of staff who was rude after I explained I had been waiting for 20min to check in, he told me to ring 206 and someone will come, I rang 206 guess who came the same rude person to check me in. On boxing day the hotel key didnt work had to wait outside for 45min for guest couple to let us in. It was a busy time at xmas, but rudeness in not acceptable at all, and a receptionist to greet guest wont go a miss.

Good hotel but a bit noisy at night from people traffic when staying in room no.2.

Mould on shower curtain. Bar staff made us wait a very long time for food, they forgot about our desserts then had the ordasity to ask our party of eight people to move for another party they were trying to set up. Hotel manager was patronising when trying to check in

Local to training centre. Ideal for short stay.Basic accomodation.

Bathroom damp, requires upgrading. Rooms could do with a paint, a bit dreary.

The service was really good as was the food, the staff were very helpful and friendly

We were given rooms that we requested ie. Downstairs and close to each other.

There was no 'phone in one of the rooms, which we would have preferred as my father is elderly and somewhat disabled, so he couldn't call me for help.

Good value and clean.

The size of the rooms. The location. The friendliness of the staff and the cleaniness.

Can you imagine? There was no soap in the bathroom

The hotel was okay for its money room was nice okay for a stop over on a long journey .

I was not impressed with the way we was treated as we was leaving the hotel , We went to book out the hotel and pay our bill their was no one in reception , So we went looking we found a cleaner who could hardly speak English not that i have a problem with that,,se went and got a young girl from the bar who came and said that the was no one thier who could do this and could we wait till her manager came in . this was 10 o clock in the morning ,After 20 mins no body turned up or came to see us,We had 400 miles to travel that day and was not prepared to hang on any longer, all i can say is it is a good thing you had card details other wise you would not of been payed as there was no one their to take any money off us plus the other couple that was sat with us . Apart from that it was a comfortable nights sleep on our way through
