Broughton Hotel  

Stayed over for one night while travelling to London. Friday night entertainment was excellent and the manager Mark was really friendly as was all the staff. We will definately stay there again on our next trip. Thanks for a great night John & Gail

Very good hotel would stay again

Location was 2 min from my familys home so was ideal for the xmas holidays, but there are cheaper hotels in the city for better value for money and a receptionist.

The broughton was ok for what it was, bathroom had mould near the shower areas, and bed sheets and towels were not changed daily. Customer service was poor, no clear signage to where the reception of the hotel was, so had to go through the bar, when I got to the reception desk nobody was there at all, wondered around in the hallway managed to find a member of staff who was rude after I explained I had been waiting for 20min to check in, he told me to ring 206 and someone will come, I rang 206 guess who came the same rude person to check me in. On boxing day the hotel key didnt work had to wait outside for 45min for guest couple to let us in. It was a busy time at xmas, but rudeness in not acceptable at all, and a receptionist to greet guest wont go a miss.

Good hotel but a bit noisy at night from people traffic when staying in room no.2.

Near to mk, taxi cost about £8.00, rooms clean but a bit dated.

The service was really good as was the food, the staff were very helpful and friendly

Reception was never staffed Staff were abrupt and rude at the end of the 50th party we attended in the function room they expected everyone to leave immediately after the bar had closed (12.00pm)people had travvelled long distances and wanted to say there farewells but were rushed out of the room by staff

Stayed at this hotel before and everything to the hotel was good, but on this visit think that the hotel management should explain how off duty staff should conduct them selves in the public bar, dont think being loud and swearing, and turning the sound up on the television so loud you cant hear what any one is saying, shame how staff can show a normally good pub up

We found the hotel very comfortable and peaceful. Exactly what we enjoy and expect!

The three evening meals that we ate with our daughter in the restaurant on the first night was very disappointing as the meat was over cooked therefore making it very dry.

Good price food pub connected. Close to J14 M1

No reliability in current taxi operator. Was 1hour late.
