It is a pity it has now closed, but glad I had the priviledge of staying
uncomfortable bed noise from facilities in adjacent rooms poor shower facilities
Comfortable and in a good position.
Wasn't able to have breakfast as was ill with stomach bug all night (not the hotel's fault)
Staff were friendly and polite
the food has very good
The facilities were very good, breakfast was outstanding, staff was very friendly and courteous!!
Ideally situated for our needs. Reasonably priced.
The double bed matress we had in room 1 was well worn.
Breakfast was just delicious and plentiful. Beds were comfortable and clean Overall suite was a pleasure to stay in.
The only thing i can say i didn't like was the noise of the heating system but this wasn't really a problem as long as you didn't run water at night one idea could be alcohol hand gel for during the night
Friendly staff room cosy very clean
the hotel was spotless
The breakfast was excellent - everything tasted as it should! My room was quiet.
The bed was too low. I couldn't find the tea/coffee making facilities in the room - the maid had put it inside the wardrobe!
nice personel,tasty and big english breakfast,good choice,good location,rooms are clean,bathroom one for 4 rooms,but big and clean
I enjoyed the range of food you could choose for breakfast. The comfort of the bed.
I found the stairs quite difficult difficult, due to walking with a stick and being disabled. A lift would be good. However, I explained that I had a stick and i was put in room 1, so thankyou for this.
good value,a good clean place, and a lovely cooked breakfast.
Hubby and I had ensuite,my sons not impressed that they didn't all used shower in our room didn't like using communal bathroom
The staff were warm and very friendly .. location was great . Rooms are nice and big , and the food was super as well . Will comeback again ..
High quality products in room Great breakfast Good size room and good size television Comfortable
The location, the staff, the bedrooms, the breakfast area, all very clean and tidy. Very pleasant place.
I did not like that there was only one shower-room for everybody. I know is a BB but it would have been nice to have an en-suite instead of having to walk out of the bedroom to have a shower
i have stayed at the Browhead whilst working in the area, I have always found the staff polite, the bedroom was clean comfy. The beakfast is very good too. I would recommend this hotel.
very good prices, comfortable room with excellent bed, lovely soft pillows and nice bed linen. Located in a quiet residential area with ample parking outside. Great breakfast served in a nice dining room with a range of different teas. Tea and coffee in the room was good. everything was very clean.
Having a shared bathroom is OK but really needs a separate toilet as I was waiting for ages in the morning while someone was taking a shower. Fortunately, the owners let me use their private toilet downstairs in the end. Also a bit hot at night as duvet was winter tog rating in August, and heating was on when I got in in the evening. After trying unsuccessfully to turn off at the radiator, I asked the owners to turn it off, which they did. Would be better to also be able to open both windows.
The staff were very friendly and solicitous. The place was simply, but nicely decorated and very, very clean. The breakfasts were delicious. The rooms were made up every day to extremely high standard.
There was a mix-up with my booking, although it was swiftly and satisfactorily resolved. The free WiFi was set up in a way unsuitable for tablet computers
Clean room and dog- friendly
ancient TV, noisy plumbing
Not much really.
