Very good,

“ We liked being left alone and not being asked insincere 'satisfaction' questions all the time. The staff were friendly, eager to please and efficient. It made the stay relaxing and very enjoyable. ”

I liked the no fusss approach to this establishment. It was quiet, professionally run, and very comfortable. I didn't like the smell of paint, but it just showed that they were taking care of thier hotel.

I loved everything about my stay, it was my first time working away from home on my own and I don't think i could have picked a better place. It was warm, cosy and friendly! My room was great with tea and coffee facilities and a wash basin, even though i opted for a shared bathroom i never had to wait once to use it. I also had a breakfast each morning which was great and ready for me in the short space of time i had before having to leave for work.

Comfortable, clean, excellent breakfast, friendly service- and as there was an en-suite room available we were upgraded at no extra cost which was a much appreciated bonus. Nothing we can think of.

The breakfast was excellent, one of the best i have had. The location was good with sea views and on street parking. Shower was luke warm. I was given a pokey single room eben though i had booked a double, this was rectified when i complained.

The ease of booking and the cost were the most inviting, secondly the location was perfect as it was only a short walk from where I needed to be, the hotel it self was full of charater features and well maintained and clean, it was very quiet as well, sometimes I wondered if I was the only person staying, breakfast was ordered on the first night and every morning it was there just as I turned up for the meal. The only negative was there was only one comunial toilet and shower for 6 rooms, having said that i never had to wait to use this facility.

Breakfast Very dated back to the 1950's! can't take such a hotel seriously in 2012. Breakfast was OK, hotel is not expensive for UK but even then it was too much for this hotel.

Lovely breakfast and enjoyed meeting Oliver, the friendly cat. Good communications regarding me having left my cardigan behind when we left for home. Was not very happy after a 3 hour drive to find our room was not ready, even though we arrived at 4pm which is an hour after the advertised check in time. We were not given a time as to when the room would be available either. We were offered an alternative room until it was ready but could not really relax/unpack, and I did not feel comfortable making a drink as this would have caused more work for the staff in having to clean that room as well. I would have preferred to have been offered a cup of tea, then perhaps a suggestion of a walk around the area?
