I am aware that a lot of socalled three star hotels in London are not all that they appear to be on the internet, but this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpets were dusty, the room so small I could barely put my luggage on the floor and a shower so small that it was very difficult not to flood the whole floor. There was no safe in the room, not Sateelite tv and worst of all, there was no air conditioning. The electric socket was so close to the built in cupboard that it was impossible to use it to charge my mobile phone. When I moved to another room, the staff was extremely unfriendly and at first refused to move me. At 80 pounds per night I expected more.

Only the price, and that only because it was a booking.com special offer. The toilel stank - there was some kind of plumbing problam. The roon was small, cramped and badly designed. This is the sort of hotel which gives London a bad reputation, and should be closed down.

Good location. Near to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. We did get what we paid for as this was through a flash deal at just £41 for a double room. Whilst it was clean, it was quite small. The worst problem was that our room was next to a noisy lift. The lift is the old style, only holding two people at a time. There was a "clank" every time someone got out and obviously being in London people were coming in all hours and we got very little sleep. If we had paid the full rate we would have been most upset but we had to bear in mind the price we paid was very good for central London. I would imagine that a room close to the lift would always be the sort on offer on the flash deal.

The staff where approachable and informative. Being 10 minuits from Paddington rail system and having an abundance of Resturants to choose from is a major plus.

Location - near to Lancaster Gate Tube. I did not like that hotel at all - extremely small rooms (I bet you have never seen such small rooms) and dirty towels! And it costs so that the hotels with much better conditions do. And it was too cold there - I had stayed at the hotel in January.

Location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from Paddington station, This was good value for money, staff pleasant, good breakfast included in price. Only issue was that in my room the toilet area was very small and the shower cubicle was in need of being tidied up.

The position of the hotel We booked a double room and the only way to get into bed was from the bottom of it. The room would be ideal as a sinle room. But otherwise it was clean and comfortable.

The staff was very nice, in particular the women serving the breakfast. The breakfast was very good compared to what we paid. I especially enjoyed the boiled eggs. In addition the hotel was clean, and we had everything we needed. The rooms are quite small, but that only seems fair when you think about the price. The elevator was very small, and the cleaning staff occupied it a long time each day for cleaning. A bit troublesome when you have a lot of luggage, and they could just leave the towels etc on every floor instead of having it all in the elevator during the whole time they were cleaning the rooms.
