Brunel Hotel

Siisti ja viihtyisä pikkuhotelli rauhallisella alueella erinomaisten kulkuyhteyksien äärellä. Palvelu oli varsin hyvää.

Saapumisiltana huoneemme oli luovutettu jostain syystä toiselle, vaikka saavuimme ennen sisäänkirjautumisajan umpeutumista. Hotellin tekemä virhe kuitenkin korjattiin mutkitta ja ripeästi. Korvaava majoitus ensimmäiseksi yöksi kuljetuksineen järjestyi ketjun toisesta hotellista lähistöltä. Hyvitykseksi tarjottiin aamiainen veloituksetta.

Loved the location and for the price - as long as expectations are managed, is rather good value for money.

Lifts do not go to all floors and spoil frequently. We had to lug our luggages up and down 4 flights of stairs via small stairway

Nice, clean, very good location, friendly though tired staff. Good value for London.

Very small room (I had a single and could either lie on the bed or stand), very small and closed window (did not open), no AC. I stayed in September, had it been July-August it would be a steam bath. Still too expensive and the price of breakfast was not included.

The hotel was wonderfully situated for shopping and the theatre. My main reason for choosing it, was a trip to the theatre. Central line tube was 5 minutes walk away! I would choose the hotel again, for this reason!

My room (no 4) was very small, but as I mainly slept and showered there, it was not too much of a problem. I would have liked a slightly larger room, if I had intended staying a bit longer.

The location was great for what we needed (an overnight stay) before we flew out the next day. It was quieter than some hotels that we stayed at.

The room was exceptionally small for a double room and very hot. We had the fan going all night.

Small rooms. There was constant noise from the road, the underground and the other rooms! Even for London standards, rather expensive.

The respect of staff

Yes - I booked at Noon on the intranet and the hotel reception couldn't not confirm my boooking initially although after some minutes they managed to locate a fax.

Cosy, clean, comfortable bed, not too noisy even though in the city centre.

Very small shower, no minibar, whole room was compact, asked for double room but got 2 twin beds pushed together, no airconditioning or decent fan, I was at the lower ground floor so could not open any windows hence was baking, no duvet, no work top in bathroom to place items onto.

Good service. Close to the tube and easy to reach from the airport. Near shops, Hyde Park and communications.

the atention- hotel staff

Very close to Paddington for Tube & Heathrow connections. Full breakfast was cooked to order - better than a buffet!

Basement single room was noisy when Tube trains were running, but ok during the night!
