The room was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. the bathroom was so small I couldn't sit on the toilet without having the door open. The photos don't give an accurate representation of the room I stayed in.. Parking was very tricky.

I liked the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of the Brunswick Square Hotel. A beautiful setting, just minutes from the seafront. The beds were clean and comfortable and the single room had a bath as well as a shower.

I (think I) got a very good deal. It was a very convenient location for what I wanted. The room was warm and had a nice view. The hotel manager was friendly. It was unpretentious. DIY Tea and coffee in room. Clean towels every day The shower room was tiny and past its sell-by date. The basin was barely usable it was so cramped. The shower only had a ceiling outlet and no hand-shower attachment

Very welcoming and clean. Lovely building with decor to complement it. Owner was very nice and interested in what we had planned. If we needed a taxi he went out of his way to get us one. Vegetarians were also catered for with the breakfast. We were able to buy parking permits and park right outside the hotel which was less than half the price of a multistorey. Room itself was very comfortable and clean. Hot water was constantly available. Tea and coffee making facilities were also provided and so was free wi-fi. Good choice of tv channels too. Not a good view from room but wasn't a major problem as didn't spend much time in the room. Otherwise nothing else was a problem.

Very big room, friendly and accommodating staff, (thanks Nasi) roomy bath, close to town and sea front. Toilet was a bit grubby but I am ultra fussy in that way.

helpful and friendly staff, location-close to city centre&seaside but at the same time away from noisy streets - a quiet place at the time of my visit, so I could sleep well. Room was clean and well maintained. Budget friendly - very good value for money. Nothing to dislike, just a suggestion: breakfast could be served early around 07:30 or 08:00, not late. May be some guests who are there for business and have to leave the hotel earlier in the morning might welcome this service.

Staff were friendly. Room being on 2nd floor - meant lots of stairs (there was no lift). Little space in shower room - no shelf for bathroom toiletries/toothbrush etc and no towel rail

Price. It was a boys weekend away so the room was just to sleep in for a few hours, no facilities were used. Small single room but it was cheap so no complaints.
