The hotel is central without being in a noisy part of the city and has parking. Were able to leave the car and walk to places of interest in Edinburgh. |

Friendly staff, the hotel had been tastefully refurbished since our last visit.Easy to walk to town centre, across the Meadows if preferred. Excellent evening meal . One of the mattresses in our twin bedded room was very soft and needed renewing. |

The hotel were friendly and helpful. The service was good. The room was a good size The heat in the room and the restaurant (during the evening) was very uncomfortable. we asked staff about it and were told the heat wasn't even switched on. |

Some very comfortable quiet rooms. Efficient restaurant with some imaginative dishes. Comfortable public areas. Well located for good restaurants and shops in Bruntsfield Road. Convenient for both city centre and southern inner-suburbs. 1. was originally offered a poor room with very bright flood lights shining right in. 2. not enough staff on reception in busy periods |

Excellent value, comfortable clean room. Good breakfast. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Location wise slightly out of centre but this meant it was quiet and peaceful with lovely view of green with trees opposite. |

Good location with easy access to the city centre. Hotel was very comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast whilst very good was a little disorganised and we were kept waiting for over half an hour on the Sunday morning. |

it was particularly comfortable and everything we needed was in place the noise outside when we opened the window...we were next to a noisy ventilation shaft |

The breakfasts in the Bisque restaurant. Overall comfort of room and hotel Odd hair in bathroom though relatively outstandingly clean as hotels go.Car park a bit nervewracking, not enough space between cars for door opening. |

I found the hotel efficiently run comfortable room with good facilities. It was easily accessible from the ring road within walking distance(for myself personally) of the city centre but on the bus route as well. Good restaurant in hotel and plenty nearby. |

I arrived early for check in after a very early morning flight but the staff managed to find me a room to occupy with minimal wait. This was very good service as in many multinational chains they make you wait regardless. |

Great central location so was about a 15-20 min walk to the castle and city centre. The room was just above the kitchen and was noisey until late and early in the morning so didnt sleep very well. |

Great room overlooking the park (free upgrade). Breakfast service staff good - very quick and efficient. Short walk to city centre. No offer to help with luggage. Cask ales advertised in the bar but none available. Burnt toast hidden under scrambled eggs. No wifi - cable only. |
