everything great location food the hosts best guest house we have stayed in a long time Alan midlands
Excellent place for walking and Mark (owner) was really helpful regarding the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again.
Bird feeders allowed us to watch birds close up. The garden was private, well looked after and provided views across the valley.
Communal areas were a bit cluttered with ornaments and soft toys. Car parking was quite tricky.
the view from the room was fabulous. the place was well decorated.
Friendly Helpful The Views Fresh eggs from chickens
The location was great, hospitality first class, breakfasts and all facilities were great, host was very helpful and informative, would most certainly recommend
Everything. Good quality Breakfast. Attentive owner, Roomy shower room, view, walk into town
Nit picking - carparking is a little tight.
the best b & b we have been to. quiet, great food, fantastic sleep.
Location was very peaceful. Breakfast was good.
Too many cuddly animal toys around.
We loved the downstairs bedroom with the patio doors, the room was very well equipped....very comfortable.
Food good. Room Good. Staff excellent
Good from start to finish, advice given on welcome, room had everything we needed, plenty of electrical sockets. Plenty of towels, bed was comfortable.
shower cubicle was a little small
Lovely staff and very clean. Provided lots of information of things to do in the area.
Early breakfast time and checkout. Did not bother us as we were leaving early but for people who want a relaxing Sunday morning it may be a bit early.
Location. Fridge on landing. Toiletries in bathroom. Breakfast although sausages were a bit dry.
Welcome could have been better, felt we were in the way. Breakfast was rushed, couldn't wait to clear our plates, even asked while we were still eating. Teles are so small and not even freeview channels. No attempt to say goodbye when we left.
The whole experience was really lovely. We must do this again a.s.a.p.
Sore knees and feet after the climb.
the owners were very unfriendly, the location was poor if you wanted to go out at night and the breakfast was to a very poor standard
Garden. Breakfast. Host.
Superb hosts, made to feel at home, great info on local activities. Stunning view from front bedrooms
Having to leave :(
They seemed to think of everything - even a wind-up torch for walking to and from the village. Very helpful with tourist/local info - info pack in room and from the owner. Beautiful setting. Spotlessly clean.
Friendly and extremely helpful owners, very comfortable rooms, excellent location with lovely views and excellent breakfast in the morning - what more could you need?
Beautiful place, very pleasant, didn't want to leave, very happy we chose it
The English breakfast... but that might be my foreign taste
Clean rooms, very comfortable mattress, nice garden, good breakfast, and very helpful daily weather forecast provided within the breakfast menu. The female co-owner was friendly and helpful.
The couple running the B&B seemed nice at first, but the male co-owner was particularly rude to one guest wishing to re-organise their breakfast table slightly so that she could better enjoy the view out of the window. He also made sure he could be heard by all of the breakfasting guests when loudly complaining about one to his partner (because that guest dared to wear pyjama trousers with a jumper to breakfast). I would expect a B&B team to try to be more courteous and accommodating to polite, well-mannered paying guests. The breakfast slot was narrow and fixed at 8am-8:45am. The decor was a little twee and eccentric - there were a lot of cuddly toys about the place (including posed as if climbing a rope alongside the stairs, and at the end of light pulls), but each to their own!
Spacious room, good host, the view from the terrace. Accomodating host, just ask!
We were able to access our room early to get changed and leave our bags
They were not set up for children - the description on booking.com did not make this clear. It was made v clear to us once we arrived. This made us quite uncomfortable. There was also too much 'stuff' in the room. They had catered for every need but it just made the room feel small. The breakfast table was too small for all the crockery and 'stuff' that was on it. It made it difficult to eat breakfast without knocking into things. You had to eat breakfast between 8-8:45. We didn't dare to see what happened if we were late! A bit of flexibility would have been appreciated!
