Barmouth is a lovely seaside resort with a nice sandy beach. It has some good restaurants and quirky shops, it's only a small town but has all you need really. with supermarkets near by. Harlech castle isn't too far away if you have transport. All in all a nice place to stay, would definitely recommned it

Barmouth is a really pretty little town, lovely little beach & sand dunes to walk in. We visited in January so it was nice & quiet, although nice to see plenty of people walking their dogs. We wanted to eat in The Last Inn but they were fully booked, recommend to book in advance. Enjoyed a nice meal in The Barmouth Bar & Grill.

Barmouth is a beautiful place, river side cabin is miles away from Barmouth beach. The hut tub in his picture he is using was not the hot tub we were going to experience our seated two people like a bath. Unfortunately we didn’t have chance to experience it. It was cold and I think the house knew full well that the hot tub was cold he was chancing his arm. His marketing said nonrefundable I’m wondering now why . His facilities will not fit for purpose . Be aware if booking Riverside Cabin.

We went out of season and everything whilst everything is still ticking over, there is a wonderful sense of quiet and a gentleness that was just what we wanted.
There are some fantastic places and shops to see, along with amazing vistas and an interesting mixture of seaside and mountain scenery.
A great place to explore in its own right and a good place to form a base for the neighbouring areas whether exploring by bus, train or car.
Loved it 💛

On the whole we were pleased with our guest house Bluebells
The beach was lovely sure it would get busier in the peek summertime but plenty of room I'm sure
The town area though whilst friendly was so very quiet and obviously struggling to make a comeback from the Covid pandemic
Everyone was closed early nothing happening beyond 9pm....Even the chippy was done for the day by 5o'clock The reason given everywhere was lack of staff....No one wants to fill the vacancies on offer!! Sad times

Like most towns now unfortunately shops are closed or closing, leaving town looking dilapidated and scruffy. However everyone seemed friendly and Saffron Indian restaurant well worth booking. The town was clean and the beach was lovely. Would definitely go back. What we did find that buses are far and few between and the trains were not passing through whilst we were there so if you wanted to go anywhere you need a car. Taxis are down to one company that we found. You need to like walking.
This is a beautiful hotel set high above the town with fantastic views over the bay. The room (no.10) was a lovely standard with sea views from both the bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed, crisp linen, fluffy towels and fab toiletries - just what you need after a long day of sightseeing.
The food at the hotel is wonderful, particularly the evening menu. I’d highly recommend it, especially in comparison to what’s available in the town. The service and the staff were outstanding and it was a real pleasure to stay here for 3 nights
The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The check in was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was served quickly and without fuss. The hotel was in a central location and would be ideal for people travelling by train, but parking was available nearby, too. We would definitely book again. We didn't have the opportunity to try an evening meal as there was a function on the night we stayed, but Barmouth has a few other places where you can eat, so it was not a problem.
The property is situated in a excellent location in barmouth, rooms are pristine & very clean, Tracey the hostess is a wonderful chatty lady & absolutely brilliant nothing is to much trouble. Also Bryn the dog 🐕 is a absolute character. We've already booked up to stay at Bry Mynach next September 2024. Probably the best property we've stayed in on our holiday travels around the uk over many years. The property is a credit to Tracey & Scott the owners of Bryn Mynach.
Walking distance to the beach, shops and town centre. Spacious apartment, clean and had all the facilities we needed. Dom and Becky were very accommodating, friendly and very fast to respond to messages and enquiries. Barmouth is a charming town with a great, family-friendly beach, whilst also being a short drive from the mountains. Also, great sunset views of the ocean and mountains in the evening. Would highly recommend, would love to stay here again in future.
Wow what can I say, everything about this trip was just wow. We spent 3 nights at no6 and it was just amazing. food was out of this world, room was fantastic very clean views were outstanding. We came for my 45th and 15th wedding anniversary and Brad just made it even more special. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful hotel Beautiful place we will be back we have fallen in love with Barmouth thank you Brad 😊
Lovely apartment with plenty of space and really sweet and thoughtful finishing touches. The location is perfect, with just a two minute walk to the beach, and an even shorter walk to the town center. Trevor was only a text away for any questions or needs and couldn't have been more accommodating. We'll definitely be back, full stars from us!
We were in Barmouth on a whim & looking for somewhere to stay.
We lucked out with the last room. Sadly we didn't stay long enough to appreciate the huge living room & patio!
The rooms were very clean & had everything in them that we needed (& more), the breakfast was very good, the staff lovely & the location ideal.
Fantastic hotel which is full of character, friendly staff, great location and hard to beat for watching the sunset! Ended up being the only guest, due to works being carried out, and had a lovely evening meal and breakfast cooked just for me, felt lucky to have such a wonderful place to myself!
Lovely traditional seaside hotel. Unspoiled, and in a great location for anyone visiting Barmouth.
The staff were very polite, and made us feel very welcome. All followed by a great breakfast in the morning.
We will definitely be coming back!!!
Excellent location, just minutes walking from beautiful dog friendly beach, close to the Min Y Mor hotel where they serve good and drinks, close to the centre with great attractions, also people in Barmouth are lovely and nice

- The hotel is right next to the beach.

- The town is a 5 minute walk away.
