Ideally placed for views, travelling, local shops and restaurants, friendly staff, comfortable, clean and no intrusive noise. One slight problem suffered not unique to this hotel - the Llandudno parking is naturally a little problematic at some times of the day and season - but only if you cannot walk short distances. We found parking within 50 yards every day !

No lift. Large key fob which you could not leave at the hotel. Useless tv with a picture that broke up every few seconds - regardless of station. Our room at the appex of the roof was exhausting to reach. Before any internel stairs there are many external stairs to encounter, totally unsuitable for the disabled.

This hotel was first class in all respects. The owner was really warm, welcoming and friendly and the service perfect. Delicious breakfast, immaculately clean room, comfy bed and everything done to make our stay comfortable. The position and outlook of the hotel is also fantastic- right on the prom- and our room had a full view over the bay and was very close to the shops on one side and the Great Orme for walking on the other. A perfect break.

Its an excellent place to stay. Hotel is located at the central of the place which was very convenient. We got the parking just in front of the hotel. Luxurious, friendly and best in service hotel. Room was clean and comfort, with the sea view.

View from room was gorgeous, staff were really friendly and warm. Great location to explore Llandudno and surrounding area. Also nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Parking is a problem, would recommend dropping off luggage and finding road parking towards Westshore

Bryn y Mor is a comfortable b&b hotel on the seafront but Llandudno has plenty of good restaurants and some are only a few minutes walk from the hotel; worth trying are The Lanterna (Italian) and the Sea Horse in Church Street and Home Cookin' in Upper Mostyn Street. Go for a drink to Wetherspoon's splendid re-use of the old Palladian theatre by the Mostyn Street roundabout but beware the food is only standard pub grub. There is no private parking but sea front parking near the hotel is free from 4 pm to 10am and then only £3 (2011) for day parking from !0am to 4pm.

It was comfortable, relaxing, and an excellent view from room. It was a bit of a struggle up rather narrow and steep stairs with suitcases. For a couple past their prime it was a bit exhausting.

Bryn y Mor is a nice traditional hotel. My room had fantastic views over the promenade and coast and was easy walking to many pubs and restaurants. The room was fine, with a four poster bed. Good WiFi connection. Breakfast room opens out onto the patio (great if the weather is ok). I would advise against using the hotel if anyone has a walking disability; 26 steps to the reception area. Car parking could be awkward, but available outside if there's space, otherwise it's a 500 yard walk, £1.10 overnight and £3.00 during the day. The only distraction for me was a very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom!

I would definatley go back to Bryn-Y-Mor, it was situated very close to the beach, with a lovely sea front view. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The only complaint i have is that they only really offer a full english, i think it would be better if they also offered continental breakfast.

Really friendly and helpful - Llandudno is a nightmare to park and as we were on motorcycles the very nice owner let us park in her private car space. Room was spotless and to a good quality with great view. Breakfast was good with great service would return - but hopefully when not raining!!

The view from my room was nice, over the bay. Too many stairs up to the Hotel. The photo of the room I booked had a bay window but I was put on the second floor with no bay window. Sickly smell in hotel, like a smell to cover up another smell, maybe doggy smell. Although the view was nice my windows were dirty.

The exceptionally friendly staff, and of course the very enjoyable and ample breakfasts. The location is perfect for visiting Llandudno and if you want to visit other areas it is a perfect loactio for day trips to Snowdonia, Conway Valley and other seaside coatal resorts.

The breakfast was really filling, there was so much of it and there was plenty of choice. My husband and I are both on special diets and they were very accommodating with it. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was a lot cheaper than one with a sea view but it was fine, really nicely decorated and with plenty of space for clothes etc. The lady who runs the hotel was very friendly and she has a gorgeous dog who greets you when you come in the door which makes you feel very much at home! We would stay there again as it's so convenient for the trams, cable car, pier and town center. There was also a really nice pub round the corner called the Kings Head, by the tram station, which served delicious food at very reasonable prices. The terrace had great views of the bay. The extractor fan in the loo and shower room was very noisy.
