Situation, friendly staff, comfort of room

Meals were over priced and the menu could have been more imaginative. Too many over cooked vegetables were offered. Might be better to prepare less but better.

Nothing not to like

Colleen and all the staff were excellent, and catered for our every need. The hotel is very clean and so comfortable with excellent food and a breakfast made with quality ingredients. And we got to meet Brynn the dog who is the size of a wolf but as soft as a teddy !...we will be going back when we next visit our mates in Porthmadog.

hotel a bit cold, room very cold. To be fair it was freezing outside. Shower power was weak

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is very clean, there is a good bar and the food was excellent The room was cosy and the staff even made sure the room was kept warm for our return if we were out for the day. Fantastic views of the surrounding area and a peaceful location.

The drive is long, narrow and widening a little worrying when arriving at night.

Extremely friendly and accommodating/flexible. Good food and wine, too.

The bathroom was rather cold, and could also do with some hooks on the door for towels, dressing gown, etc. But these are very minor points: we were very happy there.
