Jo-Anne (hostess) could not have done more to make our stay memorable. Delightful house. excellent service (breakast and bar) and delicious food. Due to not wanting to drive Jo-Anne even helped us get a take-away and cleared our mess away after. Way beyond her hostess duties.
How far it was from road and places to eat, although we did manage to get a take-away delivered
Jack n Jo were wonderful hosts!
The bed was too soft as mentioned before.
Quiet location, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, clean and modern en-suites.
I would suggest the use of air fresheners/diffusers in the the rooms.
Gorgeous location & very friendly staff. ready to help and advise on everything from best ways to get to mount snowdon, local taxi firms, best places to eat locally. Would love to return in the summer with the kids
A great stay after a long day in beautiful Wales!! Jack & JoAnn warm and funny hosts. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and a super view of the fields below. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
The welcome, the views and the breakfast all excellent. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, a lovely view across the valley, and it was quiet too.
The narrow lane was scary, However I made it both ways without meeting another car.
Location, fantastic views, wonderful breakfast, comfy bed, clean comfortable room.
highly competent telephone and internet communication buccolic & quiet setting in beautiful nature
small room insufficient sound proofing in part overextended staff
Location, food and facilities were excellent. The rooms were well thought out and the breakfast was really lovely. Made to feel very welcome. Perhaps a different room next time at the end of the corridor and my own pillow will sort out the few negatives.
Sadly, I am a light sleeper and the very loud creeking of floorboards- caused through folk coming and going along the corridor- kept me awake all night. Also, social activity in the bar area does allow noise to travel up into room 3. I didn't find the pillows very comfortable. Perhaps and thin and a thick combination might help future guests.
Everything about this place was amazing. The owners were exceptionally friendly and nothing seemed any trouble. We would very much like to stay here again.
A lovely peaceful location. Welcoming owners. Well cooked breakfast. A comfortable bed and well appointed room.
Walls very thin , could hear other guests using bathrooms.
GREAT SETTING AND GREAT HOSTS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY BETTER-STAYED HERE BEFORE A FEW YEARS AGO STILL AS GOOD THANKS AGAIN
Scenery and reception
What a beautiful setting for such a lovely property. The hosts, Jack and Jo, were very gracious and extremely helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Brynllydan Country Guest House is a beautifully maintained oasis on the edge of a forest overlooking immense green fields dotted with grazing sheep. It is about 2 miles out of town at the end of a country lane. A full English breakfast is served, the rooms are spotless, and the service is excellent. An excellent rural pub is located about 2 miles away.
Long walk into town but taxi service was available and inexpensive. No food service other than breakfast.
location food staff clean
Great setting and views. Excellent breakfast.
Room soundproofing could be better, but it was acceptable. Nearest restaurant for evening meal, a long walk. Car needed.
Location, breakfast, ladies on breakfast duty.
The male owner was certainly not the host with the mostest! The corridor leading to bedrooms was very noisy. I'm 6ft and my feet hung out of the end of the bed by a lot, bed was on the very firm, too firm for us.
Amazing location, amazing views. Jack and Jo-Ann made us so welcome. Would definitely stay again. :").
Lounge with fireplace, beautiful views, welcoming hosts
welcome to b&B warm & genuine. staff friendly caring & helpful.
only that we stayed 1night...will be back again
Great hosts, very accommodating and a good team of staff. Breakfast sets you up for the day.
No draught beers on the bar and a little pricey but understandable with the small number of guests they cater for.
