Loved the pool and spa. Thought the food was excellent and the staff very attentive.
Buffet was not available because of renovations.
The relaxing atmosphere and leisure facilitie.
We were told we would be given a family room, as we had paid extra for this. However, we were given room 9, a small room even for a double, a bed was put in it for our daughter and we could hardly move in there. Even one of the members of staff who delivered some drinks were surprised how small it was. The noise from the room above was terrible! We could here every word that was being said, I thought there was an elephant above walking with nob nailed boots on! We were eventually moved to a larger and quieter room, however the reception staff were appallingly dismissive about our problem, even to the point of trying to tell us that it's an old building and it creaks!
The pool was lovely, the location was great. The breakfast (when it came) was ok.
i didnt find nothing not to like
The way all the staff had time to speak even the painter doing work outside was an absolute gent and one receptionist in particular had the biggest smile ever....look forward to going back at some point
Staff in tester aunt at night time where very rude and unprofessional
The spa faculties where amazing
Smell of dettol in lounge
Peaceful setting, lovely room
Great staff who were very attentive. Food at wedding was wonderful. Room very comfortable.
Expensive evening meals, (only because we were students did this matter)
Friendly staff The pool and jacuzzi were a much welcomed addtion after a long days walking The breakfast was really good
Had to pay an extra 30 pounds to check in at 12 as the wedding, which was also in the Buchanan arms, was at 2pm.i feel this was unfair as this would not give us time to check in or get ready. Total of 135 pounds for one night stay which is excessive
Nice rooms and nice venue
The wi Fi was a bit temperamental
The hotel was lovely, bed was super comfy, food in the restaurant was excellent
Very small tv in room
Staff were very helpful
We loved the pool it was a really nice size nice and warm the food was great as was the atmosphere
Couldn't get booked in for a massage
Enjoyed the pool and spa facilities
Wifi reception very hit & miss in different parts of the hotel Breakfast cereal selection rather limited and croissants miniscule!
Location perfect for both sides of Loch Lomond NP. Staff Friendly
TV in the main bar and in the bedroom failed to pick up a signal during the international rugby match! Almost a tragedy, however the wifi worked so the laptop came to the rescue!
The hotel was comfortable, with very friendly staff and a good onsite restaurant.
The facilities, how quiet the surroundings where and the staff erre all very polite
Love this Hotel stayed numerous times, leisure facilities very good, only thing that was missing was the roaring log fires which was not lit on this occasion. Breakfast was hot and hearty
It was really warm in the room even though we turned off the radiator. Unfortunately because of the weather with the windows open the blinds were constantly blowing about and made sleep impossible so just had to put up with the heat.
Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. Bed was huge and very comfy. The staff were all very nice and helpfull.
just the food ie toffee sundae which was very small amount icecream 2 pieces ginger cake and some cream no sign toffee wish i had complained at time and also which they had said they had no ingredients for this dessert left surely toffee sundae is not made with ginger cake
good leisure facilities
Service in the restaurant can vibe a bit slow
The gym is decent and the restaurant has a chef who makes an effort: my steak was delicious.
The rooms were lovely, the food amazing and the staff were friendly. The village was also lovely so visited a few wee pubs and shops.
I like everything about this Hotel and I am a regular visitor. Although I only live in Glasgow, I like a little escape time here. It's a good location, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Swimming lessons taking up half the pool 3 days a week at peak times.
Lovely staff, nice pool, good location, recently refurbished, reasonably priced bar.
