I liked the free wifi and the fact that you can connect all your devices and not get booted off.
I didn't like the fact that you are looking for the door nber for the annexe, you knock next door, book on get keys then have to drive half aile down the road to your accommodation. Although the ceiling fell through with a water leak from upstairs, they did change my room and tried to help. No refund offered though.
It was cheap and clean. Free wifi. Good shower. Mini kitchen unit with fridge and microwave kettle and sink.
A few minor things...The annex is quite a bit further down the road from the hotel, and parking is round the back of another house so quite a walk with heavy bags. the room was clean apart from some half eaten chocolate in a wardrobe, and the plates had grubby finger prints on them. It was a triple room but only had 1 mug 1 small cup 1 t-spoon, 2 grubby plates and 2 knives so we had to take turns having a cup of tea. Some washing up liquid would have been useful.
Staff very nice, comfortable bed, warm room in winter, WiFi improved vs my previous stay, great TV with lots of good channels
the lighting system for the bathroom with sensor movement not always working, will be easier to have a standard one and will avoid wasting energy
Nice clean friendly.
Have noted to stay again
No heating in the large, wet room . In January Brrrrrrrrr.
not much except sometimes I have to stay there.
The regulator valve for the radiator was missing and room was cold, they were very unhelpful, reception is 300 meters away, a pain to go there to get a heater, they would not care to bring it to me.
location facilities in room staff overall very good would stay again !
road noise the only issue probably cant be helped !
internet, tv, very clean
Modernised. Comfortable. Great shower. Price.
Annex too far from reception (short walk is a mis-description when it's dark and freezing). Car parking is too far from annex. No control of heating in room meant that the fridge motor was intrusively noisy all night. Nowhere to return key when reception is unmanned.
Receptionist was very friendly. Cheap enough for the area. Got lucky with a parking space right outside. Last minute booking possible
About 400m along the main road from the main building, without it's own parking. Bathroom was dirty (toilet had not at all been cleaned) and towel had faint bloodstains. Radiator in the room didn't work. Woke up freezing as cleaners came to the building and opened up all the doors (about 2 deg C outside).
The room was standard but decent. Clean bathroom, tv, microwave, tea/facilities, parking and close to town. Would book again providing there was no building work at that time.
Building noise!!! Got woken up two mornings from 8am to builders right outside my window! Was so loud and impossible to get back to sleep and knocking on the door early to ask if we wanted room service, would just walk in room whilst asleep until they was told they wasnt needed. Bit annoying, was only one towel in the room too when booked for two people but maid gave us one once we asked.
Couldn't make the WiFi work
Cleanliness and helpful staff - a bit overworked - yet excllent. Overall excellent value. Good breakfast.
One towel for two people !! No remote control for the TV - had to keep getting down from the bed to operate the TV !! not good at all. Some hooks in the bathroom to hang 'the towel'. If the cumbersome chair is removed and replaced with a smaller one there would be a bit more space in the room.
It was more than we could have expected for the cost.
Has useful appliances like microwave.
Bit more dated than the photos and it is difficult to find. Staff just gave us general directions and we had to phone up while searching around for the correct building. TV was tiny for the size of the room and very far away from the bed.
The bed was the only warm place. Free wifi was good.
The loud noise from the pipes when other guests used the bathroom or kitchen taps. The odour in the whole room which would not go away. Bathroom lights coming on and off when you are in there or not. There was no heating in the place. The bin was very filfthy and smelt badly. Staff didn't inform us about anything about the hotel. Stained dirty towels were left outside the dooron the second day. It's a horrible place with noise levels like a construction site and smells light a sewage full of dirt. The toilet nearly over flows when it's flushed. The place was very dirty especially the bathroom. When other guests used the bathroom, the plumbing noises their bathroom wakes you up. The television is placed in a position which cannt be moved or adjusted and so makes viewing difficult.
TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, comfy bed. I asked for an extra duvet for the second night and got one straight away. Very helpful staff.
Windows could be more sound proof as right along busy road
Most expensive of our 4 day hotels and worst accomodation charges - accomodation was poor, room was below standard - total overcharge!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clean neat room Great to have Sky on TV Very kind staff both at reception and for the room service
Wifi free is great, but the network is quite slow One small towel is really not enough, always need to carry yours
The room was well apportioned, good facilities, modern etc
It's right next to the main road and it's like sleeping on the hard shoulder of the M6
only the price was OK
Had to walk to get to the hotelrooms ( differ area np tho ) but no map and poor directions had been given and we had to walk back in the darn rain which sucked. nno lightbulbs had to walk to reception twice because they gave the wrong ones. Shower water was not hot but not cold either so it didnt felt like hell nor friggin alaska. Outside door was open and not locked, which we found out ourselves and then we closed it and barricaded it with chairs at night to be sure no one would come in at night and kill us in our sleep. Further the room was poorly cleaned and we saw a giant hairy tarantula which we tried to kill but he fled coz of our poor attempt. We thought he might come back with friends and take revenge at us.. As of this we slept even worse out of fear of retribution. Just wasnt worth the money. We got a saying in Dutch. Cheap stuff is expensive stuff. Worst overnight ever!
The rooms where very warm clean andblught
Only problem we had was there was a smell of curry on the air in the corridors and also the towels provided smelt a little too. Also there was no internet ad advertised.
Strange booking in @ one place parking @ another and staying @ another but was fully equipped with all needs pleasant stay for three nights didn't have any problems very reasonable staff friendly & very helpful I would recommend staying there if your close by price was excellent for time spent there bearing in mind they have three different sites @ various prices glad to say I would stay there again depending on what you intend to do while your there for me it was time alone secluded and no disturbances for duration of stay thanks ....Paul
The fact that there's not much to do at evenings late night only a few clubs didn't go out they finish early Free parking quite a little walk with bags but better to have parking than none at all also it was free so no complaints there
Great value for money. Helpful staff.
Shower didn't work properly.
The friendliness and helpful staffs
