cleanliness, modern, views,
There was a problem with the hob in the apartment, however the management fitted a new one the next morning and offered us a free breakfast as compensation.
I should say I didn't enjoy myself last Thursday at all. I have stayed preveoius times and its been amazing. Mid afternoon was having a nap woke up to banging in the hall way I find a main trance man has let him self in after I had double locked my door he pulled up while carpet an he said 5-10 min job after 45 mins he eventually left .. Surely you should NOT have maintenance coming when people have or are in apartment and the fact when I checked in nothing was mentioned about this. One thing is lacking and that's " do not disturb signs" for the doors. He said he knocked but I watched him approach another room next door it wasn't a loud knock. I'm very disappointed and left shortly after as I could not concentrate after that. What a waste of money!!!!
Same as above!!
Location was great
Lovely clean apartments, would recommend to anyone
Reception to check-in and out abit far from apartments.
Clean and easy to find. Good to have parking spaces. Good value.
One of the chairs and one of the doors were broken
The check in was early than expected
When we went in the apartment the pillows were dirty and the facilities were not good. The single bed did not have a head board and there was only one thin pillow which was very low. The ironing board cover was disgusting .
Kitchen unit doors were falling off Could not for the life of us get the heating to come on - even after we asked for help. Scart leads hanging out of tellys because there are no DVD players. Couldn't get the balcony doors to lock - this felt very unsecure and made us both feel very uneasy about our entire stay. We ended up leaving early!!
Lovely apartment, well equipped
Apartment not where you pick up key. Hard to find, no signage, we went to wrong address as it was raining and dark and were 'chipped ' by a man for going on his property, quite rightly, street address not at all apparent.
Location, very convent for, accessing London or Oxford by rail or road.
The double bed was in the smaller bedroom, and the two singles were in the master ensuite! There were a further two singles squeezed into the kitchen/lounge area. It was evident nobody counted the inventory as there was a mishmash of cutlery, glasses and plates with not enough for the six occupants.
- Very new and tidy apartment - Helpful staff - Good value for money - On site parking
we had lots of problem locating the apartment as the house was not numbered prominently.
My 6 bed family apartment was given to someone else and I was given 2 smaller apartments, I was not informed of this until check in when it was too late to look for somewhere else.
The location is excellent for young children. The apartments (which are separate from the hotel rooms by about 400 metres, a fact not apparent from the website at the time of booking) back on to a park with a huge amount of flat run around space and a very good playground.
We booked two apartments and there was no consistency in the kitchen equipment. One had an abundance of pots but only two breakfast bowls; the other had only two very small pots and no frying pan or milk in the fridge. There appeared to be no attention to detail when preparing the apartments for new visitors.
The fact that the staff very quickly dealt with all our concerns, including calling in someone was was off duty to sort out the power problems and re-establish the heating, lighting and hot water. Also the apartment was cleaned daily with new towels provided. It was also situated next to a well maintained green space with an excellent play park which would be great for visitors with a young family needing to let off steam. The views from the balcony were lovely, especially the sunsets, and it was very convenient for Oxford as well as London. Overall it was excellent value for money, working out at approx £25 pp per night with full kitchen facilities and two bathrooms plus a supermarket close by.
When we first arrived the apartment was short of 1chair (only 5 for 6 guests), no chopping board for kitchen despite it being fully functional for cooking but only having melamine worktops so no good for cutting. Then, within less than an hour all the lights went out, the cooker stopped working and there was no hot water. Also found one leather 2 seater settee a bit inadequate and very uncomfortable for so many guests. The two single beds set up in the kitchen were also a surprise, although comfortable. A bed settee that could be shut down during the day to provide more comfortable seating and more room would be much better.
Roomy and spacious, off street car parking, clean, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Too hot at night and unable to open windows due to road noise. Needs air conditioning.
Location and value for money. Very well kept with excellent facilities.
Great sized appartment ideal for family, clean and ideally located
Very hot, especially upstairs - perhaps could do with air con during the summer? Or provide fans. Windows did not lock properly which was worrying with young children. The dish cloth left on the sink was dirty and had obviously been there for quite some time, I hope it hadn't been used to clean the crockery/cutlery! There were a couple of staples sticking out on the stairs (staples that hold the carpet to the stairs). Didn't like the two single beds being in the lounge area - perhaps better to put two bunk beds in either the upstairs bedroom or the ground floor bedroom, thus still providing room for six people. Having the beds in the lounge area meant there was only enough room for one sofa which does not accommodate six people which the apartment is described as! If there are two bunk beds in another bedroom, this would then give space for two sofas in the lounge area. Also, no lift! How would a disabled person manage?
Lack of security - front door to building not secured. Despite our appartment being locked we had a theft from the teoom
Clean and tidy
Couldn't understand how cooker worked - instructions would have been good. Freezer box on fridge was frozen open.
