Clean, staff friendly
Not enough well lit parking, uncomfortable bed and pillows, shower head broken (stuck on 'massage' function and only 3 jets of water come out)
payment on arrival; room on top floor in adjacent building
The staff on reception were friendly and greeted me warmly.
The hotel itself is not at all soundproof. I could hear everyone coming in and out of the reception door, and at around midnight an almighty crash (sounded like a wardrobe falling over) woke me up. There was also building work which, in fairness, stopped at around 6pm but continued again at around 7:30 in the morning. Very loud and constant banging- I was very tired for my long day/evening of meetings in London!
The room, breakfast, staff.
Most things ok
Need some shelves in showers to put soap on also I had no hair dryer bed hard pillows to thin, was woken up on Sunday morning at 8am by scaffolding company taken it down was only happy about that
The room was big enough for our needs, got all the mid cons you need and I close to every thing will be booking again when pop down to see family
it was a reasonably priced hotel for a weekend stay the location was on the central road into town making it easy for us to do the necessary things we had to do in high wycombe
the room we stayed in was too small for what ti was billed as. the bed itself was a double but fitted into a single as one side was up against the wall making it hard for me and my fiancee to sleep also the water wasnt working correctly having no hot water was a major issue for myself as i have a fear of water that comes out more with cold water and the facilities we had was only producing cold water. finally when we arrived on the day we was to take control of the room we found our request had not really be read up and we had to remind the hotel we needed more pillows and towels as there was only 1 towel in the room for 2 people
I stay regularly at this hotel. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate with fridge,tea/coffee making facility, good end suite shower and toilet ,complementary toiletries and parking. You can have a full English breakfast cook to your suiting.
There is extensive building work occurring at present and I found it extremely noisy - just couldn't sleep even with ear plugs in. I felt sleep deprived as I work at night.
Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Price was reasonable.
Fridge didn't work and it was quite a walk from the town centre.
We didn't stay in the main hotel we stayed in one of their two bed apartments. It had plenty of room and was well equipped. The bathroom was lovely and clean. The view was stunning and there was off road parking. I would definitely be happy to return to this hotel.
The only criticism would be that it could do with a coat of paint and the bases and headboards on the beds could do with a good clean.
Location we were using the hotel as a staging post for Heathrow airport. The position was excellent.
No lift and lots of stairs. Lack of staffs local knowledge
Dog friendly. Helpful staff.
It was a building site, poor parking. Temporary I know but we didn't know about it.
The price and food.
Rooms in need of up date.
The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful
Staff were lovely. Breakfast was very good. Very Clean + Comfortable.
Needed 2 pillows as the one I had was far too thin. And need good tea bags in room as the one's that were there were not nice. Also need something attached to the door's to stop them banging. But I would stay again.
Good value stopover
Great value for money, wide range of check -in/out hours.
Nice comfortable room. Staff very accomodating.
Nothing. All good.
Room1 was modernish
Booked four rooms together put in two seperate buildings two rooms were not ready even though we were expected . Eight of us had to get ready for dinner in two rooms .carpets were all stained shower wasnt that hot were able to buy bottled beer at "bar" and told to take it to our rooms.all they seemed bothered about was taking your money didbt stay for breakfast as the sausage defrosting in kitchen window was off putting beds uncomfortable blinds in room mean you get woken up at sunrise would never recommend this hotel
I liked that there was a microwave and fridge in the room. The staff were pleasant.
I didn't like that there was no mirror in the room, you couldn't style yourself or do your hair, the only mirror in the room was the small shaving mirror in the bathroom. The room I stayed in was in a very busy and noisy part of the building, I did not sleep at all, you could hear the other guests upstairs and at the side to me, people passing through the corridors, very loud banging and thumping all hours. I got no peace at all! I did ask for extra blanket and pillow on arrival, the room was slightly cold for me, but more comfort was added once I put the extra quilt on my bed. Despite this, I would book there again but not in room 2, I would prefer to be at the top of the building.
Clean and good facilities. Shower good! Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Good location, close to town centre. Friendly staff.
The price was good, through booking .com The facilities were ok
The room was very small. The bedding was quite cheap and thin.
