Probably one of the best located 4-star guest accommodations in Torquay, this guest house is in a tree-lined road and offers friendly hospitality, a high level of comfort and good value.
For guests' comfort, Buckingham Lodge Guest House is totally non-smoking. Each rooms offers a real home-from-home experience with many amenities, including free Wi-Fi access.
Relax in the bar before exploring the surrounding area - Buckingham Lodge Guest House is well placed for the Riviera Conference & Leisure Centre, the seafront, beaches, the shopping centre, Torre Abbey and the railway station.

Breakfast is served between 08:30 and 09:15 but an earlier breakfast can be made available. The breakfast menu includes tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, grapefruit segments, prunes, a full cooked breakfast or muffin with poached egg and smoked salmon. Toast and preserves are also available, as well as a vegetarian option and other dietary requirements such as soya or goats' milk.
Evening meals are served at 18:15. These need to be pre-ordered on the day of arrival.
Unfortunately we do not accept stag or hen parties.
Enjoy holidays and short breaks in a comfortable, friendly and relaxing environment. Take a 10-minute walk past Torre Abbey to the seafront, where you will find the Princess Theatre, harbour, restaurants and main shopping area of Torquay.
By Car
From the M5:
- Follow the A38 to Torquay.
- Take the A380.
- Take the A3022 into Torquay.
- Stay in the right-hand lane when you reach the junction of Torre station and Halfords.
- Follow Avenue Road and pick up signs to the seafront and Paignton.
- At the 2nd set of traffic lights on the junction of the Riveria Centre and Falkland Road, take a sharp left turn onto Falkland Road.
- The Buckingham Lodge is approximately 100 yards on the left-hand side (set back next to Glendower Hotel).
Transfer:
You can be collected from and delivered to the train station if required.
You cannot check-in after 22:00.
Remaining payment is due at check-in. Buckingham Lodge will add an additional cost to payments made by credit card (no charge for debit cards).
Please note that the hotel does not accept American Express cards.
