Its not far from the centre of Chesterfield and the breakfast was very good No keys for the front door and the bar prices were expensive |

The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the outside area at the rear was very good. All areas of the hotel was very clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Price of drinks was reasonable. The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the Peak district. The rooms were very small and in our room there was no window - just a sky light! Some of the facilities described, were not available i.e. DVD player in room. |

A warm welcome on a winters night, excellent modern facilities in the rooms which were nice and warm with an excellent shower. A firm and comfy bed but and the breakfast was second to none. I felt the food, though well cooked and presented was a little bit on the high side re price, considering that the surprise meal was steak and mushroom pie. Internet access would be useful. |
