Buckingham's Hotel  

Very helpfull friendly family who own the hotel. the food was superb, and the suprise factor of the menu was a real treat. As advice to others staying in the peak distict, ask for a copy of the route plan they gave us it was superb and practical. The best recommendation we can give is that we will be booking to stay here again. Andy Brittle.

Very friendly, welcoming hotel; single rooms can be a bit depressing, but the room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Great location for town centre. Very nice breakfasts!

As with many small independent hotels, it doesn't offer the same flexibility as the hotel chains (e.g. breakfast doesn't start until 9.00 am on Sundays) - but it does offer a very comfortable and friendly stay.

The food was excellent and the staff very friendly was above expectation. Would definetly recommend.

Charged for using my credit card did not feel that this was necessery, would have paid more for the room.

This is everything I want from a Hotel as a frequent user. They are welcoming, friendly, efficient, helpful. Mr & Mrs b and their daughter were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble & it was like we were old friends! My colleague & I stayed 3 nights & I know if either of us get the chance we'll be back. Nicks food is totally awesome too - which was a real "Brucie bonus". Cannot say enough about the place. All Hotels should be like this one.

なにしろご飯が美味しい。ご主人兼シェフは、素材にこだわっている方で、夕食も朝食も大変美味しく、また行- きたいと思う。 施設はこじんまりしているが、かわいらしくて、快適。小さな庭には和風の演出がなされ、鯉を飼っている池も- ある。ご主人は日本びいきらしく、旅行したいのだそう。Wifiは無料だが、宿泊した部屋は信号が弱かった- 。レンタカーが無いとアクセスは厳しいかも、チャッツワースまでは車で三十分程。

A wonderfully relaxing and friendly family run hotel with exceptionally good food. I will certainly stay here again and would certainly recommend to others to do so. I would also recommend going there simply for the food if you are visiting the area for the day.

Convenient for town centre, station, etc. Personal attention of proprietors. Excellent value gourmet meals created by owner/chef.

Large teddies in room: rather eccentric considering most clients were there on business.
