Score from 287 reviews Very good
Good Location, tasty breakfast, friendly proprietor, comfortable beds.
Previous occupants Hair on bathroom floor and up on wall. Toilet wedged up with a door stop(?). Tv in room above was very loud through the floor. The window in bathroom was inaccessible and couldn't close it. I understand the owners are in the process of selling up and moving by dec14 so this won't necessarily count on reviews after this date.
Good food, friendly helpful staff, excellent value, wifi, breakfast and parking included.
Basic furniture, room not huge
Location, warm welcome, great breakfast
Buckland Lodge is shutting it's doors soon and being converted into flats.
good location & off road parking . Simple good value for money.I would stay again.
My room is a little bit noisy. It is next to the road outside, could be better.
Shame it's closing down.
1. Dogs were allowed in the room 2. Breakfast timing was flexible as I left early in the morning 3. Very accessible location
1. On busy road so noisy at times
The convenience of a ground floor room.
Very shabby décor but understandable as selling up.
nice room and breakfast
the owners lived above my room and both mornings could hear them moving around at 5.30am
The bed was comfy
The room was tired and shabby, the ensuite was a cupboard with a toilet in and was grubby. The front door key just about worked it took a lot of fiddling to get it to open the door and we were almost locked out. The room smelt of damp and the carpet was dirty.
Excellent service and value
Very friendly and helpful. Comfy and quiet.
This house is very nice and Mr Chandler very lovely.
The location to the old town area and train station.
A little old fashioned. My bed was noisey, every movement woke me up. Just 2 teabags for the tea/coffee. Requested no sausage with full breakfast but no alternative or extra offered to the very small portions. Just seemed to be run on a shoestring.
central location , breakfast was superb , we were able to check in early due to an early function with no qualms
The staff member was welcoming andhelpful.
It was a nice guesthouse with eveerything you needed. Was not very modern but clean and I´ve got a nice welcome at arrive by the owner.
Friendly owner and excellent service. Centrally located with easy walking distance to main locations. Comfortable sitting room.
Accommodation a little dated.
Nice lounge to relax in and breakfast in the morning.
Location was really handy for central Leamington and the train station
They had no record of the booking through booking.com, but were very accommodating and provided an upgraded room at no extra charge as one was available.
Friendly owner - nice breakfast, comfortable and relaxing
Nice cooked breakfast, pleasant host
Cramped washing and toilet facilities with small basin. One comfortable bed the other ?. Avoiding part of skirting board coming away from wall.
cheapest price I could find and everything was still to reasonable standard. It was very easy to find. The staff were good enough to give me my key at 11.55pm
the bed was a bit hard and the sausage for breakfast was a little pink.
five minutes from the train station ten minutes from the town centre. good easy going b&b rooms had everything in that you would want
Excellent location (near train station and theater I was attending). Proprietor allowed me to leave my bag while I dashed off to Warwick Castle (5 minutes away) , after I checked out.
No water pressure in shower, room kind of cramped and cold (heat not adjustable - no spare blankets?).
