It was very cold at night. Could have done with extra blanket or thicker duvet.

Absolutely fantastic, what a lovely friendly hotel, great food and comfortable clean rooms. The lounge is a perfect place to take a quiet break with a glass of wine and read one of the books from the library. Highly recommended.

Wine list is a touch expensive.

Lovely location, interesting Victorian architecture

Proprietoress served us a sirloin steak and insisted very rudely that it was the fillet we had ordered. Very embarassing for us and her staff.We checked out earlythe next day. Breakfast staff member was lovely, shame about the boss.

Great food, comfortable smart rooms and very nice staff

Tiny thing, but there wasn't a wonderful smell in the hallway when we came in - wasn't too bad, but a nice smell would have been much better.

We liked the location very much. Ive always loved Dinas Mawddwy as its a stunning part of Wales so the hotel was in a perfect location. Our room was wonderful, lovely and clean. Great bathroom also with huge bath. Lovely view of the countryside from the bedroom window. Good facilities and a hearty breakfast. Staff very friendly too.

We were abit concerned that if all other guests keys fitted the front door, could they also fit our room door lock!!! External appearance of hotel looks abit tired and in need of some tlc but apparently work is underway to give the place a facelift. Other than that, all good and very much enjoyed our overnight stay. Thanks Gaye.

We booked 1 double room, single occupancy and 1 superior king room. The double was very clean and comfortable with tea/coffee and biscuits and a good shower over bath. The superior was excellent, armchairs and at the back of hotel with super views. The hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly and the breakfast very good (smoked salmon and scrambled egg). We had an evening meal on arrival, also good. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely everything! The family who owns it are So very nice and friendly we felt right at home!

I only wish we knew about it sooner!

We were probably quite difficult as customers go but the owners were extremely accommodating and made our stay really comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an easy drive in and out of Snowdonia.

The owners and staff were extremely helpful and considerate; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel decor and furnishings were lovely and the room was very clean. My Mum's room was at the back of the hotel and had nice views across the valley.

Some noise from the road at the front, but this was not an issue from late evening onwards..

The room was fine and very clean and well appointed. We paid room only but breakfast was available at only £5 per person - excellent value as it was served in a lovely room with views acroos the valley. My wife was able to choose scambled eggs & smoked salmon - her favourite and rarely available in hotels at his price. Service was excellent with extra coffee offered.

We enjoyed our stay, the owner and her daughter were very friendly and we enjoyed our chats, this is an excellent hotel in a very nice location.
