Excellent guest accommodation where you can relax and enjoy good food in a friendly atmosphere. Relax in the hot tub, situated in the secluded side garden. Standing in a quiet residential area, Bude Haven is within easy walking distance of the town centre, beaches and Bude & North Cornwall Links Golf Club. Here, special green fee rates can be arranged. The 4-star Bude Haven is non-smoking and offers individually furnished en suite rooms of varying sizes and each is provided with a television, radio, beverage tray and hairdryer. Guests can use the outside hot tub, situated in the secluded side garden, free of charge. Alternatively, relax in the lounge or enjoy a drink in the bar. The residents' restaurant is open 5 nights of the week, being closed on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. It serves a wide ranging menu, from local seafood to the finest steaks. went to a wedding so only had to sleep in hotel and only had to eat breakfast there room on third floor three flights of stairs to climb up to room

Very friendly staff, personally run. large rooms, very large comfortable bed. good food, plenty of it. Reasonably good location. Very clean hotel. Staff were helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Decor was a little tired looking, although the house was old and beautiful there was a slight musty smell as you walked through the door.

The owners of the hotel made us feel very welcome. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. It was like home from home with many personal touches, not something that you get from the big faceless hotels. breakfast was great and the hotel used local produce. They were very helpful in pointing out things of interest and things to do in and around Bude. We stayed at this hotel 29 years ago and all i can say it was better than the first time. Well worth visiting, and great for visiting local attractions in the area.

The hotel welcome we got from our hosts was very warm and friendly and the staff made us feel very welcome and even took the time to add a few extra little touches for our young son. The hotel family room was very spacious and clean. The evening meal and breakfast were very good and good value. Overall we could not fault anything with this hotel.

i proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio e come a casa sin dal primo momento. La stanza che ci e' capitata era piccola rispetto a quello che ci aspettevamo e cosi il bagno ma il tutto era dignitoso.La pulizia estrema,la calda accoglienza,l'educazione e la signorilita' dei proprietari,le ottime cene e la vicinanza dalla passeggiata lungo la costa e dai campi di golf hanno compensato lo spazio che desideravamo nella stanza. Ma hanno anche stanze piu' grandi quindi consiglio di prenotare per tempo.dispongono anche di spazio per il parcheggio delle auto

Wij hebben zopas met 9 personen gelogeerd in Bude Haven (03/05/2011) we waren de enige gasten. De beoordelingen op de site staan absoluut niet in verhouding met de slechte kwaliteit en prijs van het hotel en de geleverde service. Het hotel is slordig en muf, absoluut niet proper, uitgeleefd, véééél te duur, ( duurder dan St Michaels hotel & spa in Falmouth???? we kregen dankzij booking.com wel een goede prijs). Het sanitair was oud, werkte nauwelijks en versleten. De maaltijden trokken werkelijk op niets, alle voorgerechten waren gefrituurd, vet en niet vers, de hoofdgerechten waren niet alleen basic, maar ook alleen weer opgewarmd en gefrituurd. de "Sirloin steack" was uitgebakken (gevraagd naar wel done-rare) en er was maar één steack aanwezig, 3 medereizigers die er ook om vroegen (stond op de kaart) moesten iets anders kiezen. Twee personen vroegen soep, één persoon kreeg voldoende, de andere kon zijn lepel nauwelijks gevuld krijgen. De sausjes waren uit een pakje. de frietjes waren zwart van buiten en rauw vanbinnen. Bij vraag naar een bepaalde wijn (Shiraz) op de wijnkaart was die er niet en van een andere maar één fles...Het ontbijt, pover en de cereals in oude onsmakelijke plastic dozen, De zogenaamde jacuzzi in de tuin was oud, beschadigd, het aanwezige water was vuil en vies. Dus hier hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt. Verschillende tegels in de tuin en oprit lagen los, waren opgebroken en gebarsten. Aan de balie hing een karikatuur van Basil Fawlty, wij kijken liever naar het programma dan dit live mee te maken. In de kamers hing ook nog een attest dat de matrassen vrij van ongedierte waren en gereinigd zijn... gedateerd 02/2010.... Een teleurstellend hotel, de naam niet waardig.
