The location was nice, not far from Kings Kross station. The room. It wasn't clean. Shower was also dirty. It was very noisy. We heard everything outside (cars, people) and we heard everything what every night did our neighbours. As regards me, I'll not stay here second time. But for budget travel it's ok.

The bathroom should urgently be refurbished! The beds should be replaced (or at least fixed) and the windows made soundproof. The person at the reception should be aware that he wakes up the people sleeping on the floor underneath when he keeps walking up and down his room.

Unintrusive Friendly staff. No thrills cheap and clean accomodation in Camden. Old building with a lot of character, recently refurbished in a diy way. The wifi works very well. The room tv had a dvd player in it, nice surpise. Only one towel provided for two guests. Had to buy our own soap.

Its dirty, the house probably will fall down soon, the bathroom is terrible, and people who works there dont help you at all. I,ve paid 25 pounds for one night, and I think it was to much for a so poor hotel.

You get what you pay for... The lock didn't work on the bedroom door and the kettle wasn't in the room, but hey, I had a good nights sleep.

I liked very little about the Budget Guest House. However, I will say they did allow us to leave our luggage at the reception desk when we arrived early. I have traveled to many places and stayed in some really dodgy areas of world, but in all my travels I have never not wanted to take a shower at my hotel. I would not take a shower at the Budget Guest House even with shower shoes on. I expected budget accommodations but there is a standard that should be met in keeping a public shower area clean. There are two public bathrooms shared amongst guest. Both have mold and grim growing inside the tub/shower, tiles are peeling up, smells of feet, and is drafty. It is apparent the the Guest House is not well cared for, and judging from the staff I would say they don't care. The reception area of the guest house also left us feeling uncomfortable as there was a bed in the office space where we had to fill out papers.

* Close to St Pancras International * Very big room * We were travelling with a toddler and had asked for the triple room, but we did not know that this triple room was located on the top floor (4th floor) with no lift, so had to carry everything up the stairs * We had gotten lost on the way, and the receptionist had not given us directions clearly. Had called again ten minutes later, but no one picked up

Nothing.. Except the clean sheets The bathroom facilities were disgusting.. We didn'tuse them except as a necessary morning pee stop. The 'bed' in the office was 'unusual!' One towel between two was strange - but in the event we didn't use it! Drink facility very basic and no teaspoons! Uncomfortable beds.

The price was excellent, especially being so close to both Kings Cross and St Pancras Rail Stations so it was easy to commute to the places we needed to be.

Not really anything. I will not be staying there again. The main issue is that the website claims it is near the Eurostar terminal, claiming it is a 5 minutes walk. This is not the case, it is more than 15 minutes of walking fast, and certainly more with luggage. On top of that it is not clean at all, smelly and has very small staircase and no lift so top floor is a challenge. We did not use the bathrooms and were very happy not to stay more than one night.

The rain was pouring down through te roof an all teh way from tird to ground floor. Everything was wet, but we had to find that out ourselves, the staff did nothing to inform or help us on that matter. The way they handled all that water inside the house was very unprofessional. The house really need some cleaning and restoring. We had to ask for toilet paper, and for the staff to turn on the light. We will never go there again.

Friendly staff, very helpful and kind. When there was water in the room, due to heavy rain storm, a replacement room was made available immediately. Room smelled of smoke, even though hotel is fully non-smoking. Of course it is not easy for the staff to detect smoking guests in their rooms but still it is unpleasant for non-smokers and children to come to such rooms.

“We were very impressed by the hotel, for the price we paid we expected a bed and not much else, but this hotel is perfect. We stayed for one night, the room was smaller than the usual hotel room but it had a bed, shower/bath and toilet, a TV, a wardrobe. What more do you need for such a low price? The breakfast was a traditional English breakfast with toast and jam, the service was quick and efficient and the food tasted fine, with Tea, Coffee and Orange juice offered. Overall the hotel was clean and friendly during our stay.” Michael, Southampton |
