The Best Western Bulkeley Hotel  

We were there because we had to attend a funeral.Thanks to this hotel, our sad stay became one of considerable pleasure and comfort. Thank you staff of Bulkeley.

Only one: Please make sure dinner plates are well heated before serving.Mine was as cold as my husband's salad plate and I was having pan-fried chicken!

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, traditional hotel with stacks of character in a great location. Good breakfast.

A very good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and arrived at the table piping hot.

Liked the hotel, good facilities, very clean and comfortable rooms and excellemt scenic location. The food in the snack bar was very good and we had a excellent breadkfast.

Our stay was completely ruined by being in unbelievably noisy rooms! Rooms 109 and 110 seem to be directly over the function room where there was a noisy event followed by a disco that went on until midnight. It was impossible to sleep and we needed an early night for an early start in the morning. It was even difficult to hear the tv over the noise!! If forewarned or offered a discount on the ususal per night price this would have been more acceptable. We would stay here again but on no account would we accept these rooms or the two other nearby ones!!

Good restaurant, bistro and bar with real ale. Lots of display cabinets with collectable items for sale as well. Very good beach front location on Angelsey.

The evening meal was pretty good but that was about all!

How can a bar run out of its best beer at 21:30 on a Saturday night? One staff member told us it happens every week! We waited 3/4 hr for our not very good breakfast and had to ask for tea & coffee at breakfast. The staff were unsmiling and the girl on the bar the night before could have withered a vine. The drinks prices were extortionate.

The location was great, on the waterfront and near the castle. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was good.

We asked for a platter of sandwiches to be prepared for the evening as we were returning too late for dinner. They forgot to do this, but did produce something eventually, but we were surprised to find that it had cost us £25!!

We stayed here for one night as my daughter was having her wedding reception there. Everything was excellent the food was lovely, rooms nice and clean with comfy beds and staff were welcoming.

The decor, furniture, bedding in room where old, worn, dated and broken. damp musty smell in bedrooms, The carpets in rooms, corridors, reception where worn and dirty. The staff where apathetic, a complete disapointment from start to finish and would never book a best western hotel ever again. I paid £210 for two rooms for one night, a total rip off for the quality of room, staff and customer experience.
