Having to come home!
We were a group of 9. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. You really at felt at home. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. The lunge areas are very large as well. Atmosphere is informal yet sophisticated. Food was excellent.
our breakfast order was muddled up with the people on another table.
Staff excellent wyvis suit magnificent
Music in public rooms Unable to watch tv while in bed
traditional and grand but small enough to be intimate amazing food very attentive staff.

The room was lovely, no adverse comments. Content with the room overlooking the estuary. The restaurant was very good excellent happy servers. Lovely gardens ideal for wedding receptions.
The dinner menu and wine list was badly overpriced, however they had a wider choice of quality half bottles to choose from, but again overpriced.
Everything. Superb accommodation and food. Quite expensive but worth every penny!
Very professional and friendly staff, clean and nice rooms, quiet location.
Old building in bad need of renovation. huge number of flies and mosquitos in the room. Extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows and very old mattress. unhelpful staff (even manager) and no one available at night. overpriced and overrated. When complaining about quality of bedding, the manager response was "You booked a standard room and not one of our premium rooms" !!!
Rooms are a wee bit small (at least the one we stayed in) and the windows are tad small too Property is locked at 10 pm - so one must remember to take the key if one is stepping out - else will get locked out !
Fabulous location Historical site Comfortable bed Soft towels
Pink, cracked outside paintwork Pink carpet upstairs Only 3 outside chairs Absent staff
Good quiet feel about the hotel.
Grounds were in poor state, wrecked Reliant Robin, out sheds full of old bath tubs, carpets, flooring. Not very attractive for this type of hotel.
Grounds were extensive and hotel was relaxing and quiet. Bed was comfortable and we could open the window to let in the lovely breezes so we slept really well. We had the Cedar Room looking across the gardens which was quite spacious. Breakfast was lovely in the dining room looking out across the water.
Set menu for dinner was a bit expensive so we drove into Inverness.
Country seat hotel by the Moray Forth, picture and beautiful surroundings. Lovely staff, excellent food in the restaurant, and a minimum suite bedroom. Good value overall - and a good choice of single malts behind the bar!

Lovely bedroom Very good evening meal but the breakfast was dissapointing
Lots of flies in the dining room. Bar closed early
Bathroom needs up dating
The setting is beautiful and staff were friendly and accommodating. A wonderful place to leave worldly woes behind and just relax, so peaceful. Dinner was perfection and made more so with the view over the Beauly Firth. Loved it.
Great building, nice location, pretty gardens, good view.
Food was way over priced and not worth eating, we were told after we took a bottle of wine with us to the living room, where we wanted to read, that there was a $25 corkage fee (the person telling us that was absolutely rude and there were others in the room). The room needed to be cleaned better. A real disappointment.
Wonderful old world ambience and extensive grounds
Extemely hot (painfully so) towel rail in bathroom.
