Location Staff Room Food Great value for money
Sleep location breakfast history of the house
Great staff, excellent location
Location is first class , staff friendly and helpful , food very good but over priced
We had booked a superior double room but were rather disappointed with it , the bed was on the hard side and the pillows felt cheap and nasty , there was tea and coffee making facilities provided albeit with one shortbread finger each
Staying at Bunchrew house was part of a very small and tedious 2 day trip to Inverness from London. And it was one of the best part of the trip. The location, comfort, facilities all were excellent. Value for money. They were really accommodating in few requests after booking and all requested additional facilities were ready during check in. Friendly & courteous staff. Will definitely recommend
The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly.
We dined at the in-house restaurant and the food was extremely unappetising. We were very disappointed.
Hidden extra costs
Really lovely hotel! We had a nice big room. Big bathroom. Very friendly staff. We travelled with a toddler and it was great! Hotel had a good variety of toys to keep him entertained! Would stay there again.
The food was a bit too expensive for its quality. It was all nice bit not great. Just don't think that the price matched the quality.
Great welcoming staff
This was horribly outdated. It looked in disrepair and the carpets in room were stained.
could not fault this place.. it was awsome
Ambience and history, beautiful common rooms, afternoon tea in the drawing room, garden, seating, location, excellent breakfast
Room too hot and couldn't open windows. Sink didn't drain properly. Hot water temperature set too high. Bedding too hot just needed a very light quilt and a sheet
Amazing staff, awesome place, and the food was out of this world! Brilliant place!!
Location of the hotel is magnificent, when you enter from the garden gates, magic begins. Building itself is very historical and beautiful. Our room has a perfect sea view. Room is large and comfortable. Staff is extremely polite, helpful and attendant. We arrived late at the evening, gentlemen in the reception understood from our appearance of us that we are hungry and tired, they prepared us a delightful sneak. Nature around the hotel is fabulous. Breakfast was cooked to our order. Car parking is easy, just 20 m near the hotel, inside the garden.
Nothing at all..
Very homely hotel and courteous staff Surrounding is great and peaceful
Quiet spot. Dinners were excellent and served in a unique manner. Loved it.
Picturesque location Large room
Room desperate for modernization Bathroom like a hospitals not a luxury hotel Menu, procedures for meals and staff like an episode of Fawlty Towers Wifi signal not available in rooms Bed spread covered in dried fluids
The setting and friendly staff. Breakfast first class.
The pillows & bad tv reception. Food a little fussy.
Location Staff Breakfast
Food. Atmosphere. Staff all very good. Room was nice if not a little tired. Bathroom could have done with a refit. But it's a old house. Has charm.
Bathroom was tatty.
Warm welcome, delightful atmosphere....lovely location. Excellent food and thoroughly good value.
The staff were excellent and helpful No wi if access in the room Restaurant and breakfast fantastic
Stairs the room
The view was lovely , nice experience
We booked into Bunchrew House for two nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the suite on the ground floor overlooking the waterfront. The suite was huge, as was the very comfortable king size bed. The garden was a delight to walk in, and the staff were all very friendly and professional. Breakfasts were excellent, and the dinner we had in the Bunchrew restaurant was amazing. We couldn't fault it other than the occassional intermitent wifi.
Beautiful drawing and dining rooms. Room very comfortable, keeping in mind old building. Staff very nice.
Bathroom could use a little update.
Location, History and feel of the property, the staff could not be more helpful and the food excellent too.
