Parquet floor a bit noisy
Great welcome. Excellent breakfast. Cleanliness. Helpfulness.
Very warm welcome, spotlessly clean room with a comfy bed and a lovely breakfast.
Creaking floorboards, I wouldn't be able to live with them
We recently stayed for 2 nights and couldn;t fault any aspect. Una and Hamish were very warm and friendly people and the accomodation was first class. We will be back x
Excellent hosts Hamish and Una. They were really friendly and helpful - Hamish called on my day of arrival to check if I was likely to arrive when he had to go out and advised on best way of getting bus to Glasgow for Commonwealth Games. Spotlessly clean and excellent breakfasts.
What a fabulous little gem of a B&B this is with wonderful hosts Una & Hamish. Even though we only stayed 1 night, their hospitality was amazing and attention to detail was spot on. Our bedroom & shower room was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything u could wish for which contributed to a great night sleep. We were overwhelmed with the fantastic choices on offer for breakfast and subsequently when it came to eating it, the quality, quantity & presentation was A1 and kept us going till at least 4pm! Will certainly return, & stay longer than 1 night when doing the Edinburgh Fringe.
There was nothing to dislike whatsoever.
Everything!! This is very tastefully decorated and appointed accommodation with a wonderfully attentive and friendly husband and wife team. The room was VERY comfortable and spacious as was the en-suite shower room with its lovely thick towels and complimentary toiletries. Hamish and Oonagh made you feel welcome the moment you walked through the door and their attentiveness to their guests was faultless.
FRIENDLINESS. CLEANLINESS. HELPFULNESS. GREAT FOOD.
Excellent Comfort Fantastic taylor-made breakfasts Friendly and helpful management Good wifi, free parking
A bit far from Edinburgh
It was comfortable, friendly, homely and clean with everything provided and convenient. The breakfast was excellent and the tioletries provided were good.
Parking was a little tight.
Staff were exceptional, friendly and so helpful. The breakfast menu was the best seen for many years and cooked superbly. Rooms very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.
Fabulous hosts - nothing is too much trouble and breakfast was excellent with hearty portions! Rooms beautifully furnished and comfy beds.
Parking spaces perhaps a bit tight if you drive a big car, but really no complaints.
Hamish & Una wonderful hosts, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Ideal setting & location Great choice of breakfast
Having booked to stay one night only
In a word 'Tremendous'. Do yourself a favour, you couldn't make a better choice.
I loved everything about this B&B, most especially our gracious hosts Una and Hamish, had a very relaxing and comfortable stay and Una's breakfasts were a real treat! Chose to stay an extra night at Bunree and thanks again for fitting us in!
Nothing - splendid stay
Everything peaceful location great night's sleep excellent welcome Una and Hamish very friendly and helpful will stay again and again
Very helpful landlord
Great hosts, fantastic breakfast, in choices, quality and quantity. Everything in the property was spotlessly clean and we would definitely stay here again.
The hall floorboards are a little creaky and can be heard in rooms, especially the downstairs bedroom.
Everything, especially the "Poachers Pouch" and the wee dram at bed-time.
We didn't get to meet Una. Unfortunately the sign directing you into the area for the B & B was hidden by a tree.
Very friendly and helpful excellent value would stay there anytime
Welcoming, friendly hosts; immaculate well-equipped room; quality breakfasts.
No evening eating places in walking distance.
Una and Hamish were very friendly and welcoming and very helpful about how to get to the city and St Andrews, providing maps etc. The room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I can recommend the scrambled eggs and salmon.
Very clean and comfy, hosts Una and Hamish very welcoming and friendly and give attention to details. Excellent place to stay.
We found the rooms excellent with everything you could possibly require included. Hamish, the owner, was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He was real character and cooked an excellent breakfast!
