Very good to have a choice of pillow fillings availaable. Bed very comfortable.Staff helpful and friendly.Location superb.

In a four star hotel think water should be in the rooms as a matter of course,and not at a charge. It is more civilised.

Extremely quiet at the January time ut staff were very attantive and the communal areas of hotel really cosy and comfortable. An upgrade offer would have been nice!! The only part of the hotal that was a bit tired was the bathroom, limescale on tiles etc.

Large room, with excellent facilities. Lovely and clean. Great value for money.

Although the waiting staff were lovely, the breakfast took ages to arrive.

Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, room a good size with good facilities.

There was a problem with constant noise from a water pipe which made sleep very difficult and ruined our stay completely, inspite of the otherwise good qualities about the hotel.

We found the staff very helpful and welcoming. The wedding party guests who were also staying were not obtrusive as many of the facilities for them were separate and we had been given a quiet garden room. We felt the management had given this a lot of thought and it worked well. In all ways a very pleasant stay which we would repeat in clean well appointed comfortable surroundings with a beautiful garden

Our only small qibbles were that the water in the room was not complementary and that we were confused by the menu as there was no price shown on the restaurant choice although the Brasserie menu which did have priceswas produced when we asked

My room was so comfortable an had everything I could have possibly needed. Breakfast was excellent, again everything I could have wanted and much more, beautifully cooked and all good quality.

My only problem was that the shower screen did not stop water going onto the floor, so after my lovely hot shower I stepped out of the bath into a large puddle.

Beautify cosy hotel. The lady in reception on the first day was very helpful, introduced us to a very good English restaurant for dinner.But the one on next morning is not, they do not have name badges.

When my wife asked her for WIFI, she claimed that it is not free, which is a completely different story from yesterday. She even claimed there is no such thing as free WIFI! However after we told her that we got a free password yesterday, she finally give us a new free password for the internet. Very bad feeling about this. Besides, when our family ask for breakfast, nobody remind us that the breakfast will cost us 16 pounds each. Hotel in general under-staffed. Shower water weak, can bearly use to wash hair. Our room facing the road, a bit noisy.

I thought the breakfast at £16 was expensive and a bit chaotic. Eggs had to be ordered and the staff either got the order wrong or delivered them to the wrong table. The coffee was luke warm as was the tea.
