Smart and comfy. Pleasant staff and breakfast. Although situated by a busy road, the sound-proofing was fine for me.

Sally's hospitality is excellent. The stay made you feel homely and accessible to anywhere in Cotswold attraction. Would love to come back and spend more days at Burford. The good weather complements the whole stay. Recommended!! Nothing at all!!

The owners were both delightful and helpful, and very friendly. They made the hotel feel like a home away from home, only oozing with added luxury. The room and hotel decoration were lovely, of a high standard, very fashionable and full of class. The bar was well stocked with a good selection of beer and ales, including some local, home-grown varieties. Breakfast was well presented and perfectly cooked, essential for a full English and scrambled eggs on toast. Location wise, the hotel is a short walk from the garden centre (a must visit) and a pleasant stroll from Burford high street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. We visited the Burford Lodge in mid-May. The junior suite is a beautiful room to stay in but it doesn't have adequate means to block out the sun, so we awoke along with the birds at the crack of dawn (4:30am). Not a problem if you're an early bird as we are, but if you're hoping to have a lie-in, this isn't the best room for your needs.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Despite there being tea and coffee making facilities in the room, we were brought up a pot of tea and coffee on arrival, which was very much appreciated. Walls and floors a little bit thin so that slight noise - but no more than any other hotel I have stayed in!

Sally was a cordial, charming, and very helpful hostess. She made our stay a marvelous one with her suggestions for our day trips through the Cotswolds and recommendation for dinner in Burford. We were very pleased with our stay at the Burford Lodge on May 21-23.

Location, easy access to Burford & closeness of the surrounding Cotswolds. Just a minor issue. Need to sore out the Wifi. It was erratic & with two 'log on' - one for upstairs & one for downstairs - not so good.

The staff at Burford Lodge could not be better. They went the extra mile for us, and were wonderfully helpful. It is beautifully decorated throughout. The first room we were shown was too small for two people. We spent 4 nights there. The last two nights, we had a lovely suite with a very comfortable bed.

Rooms tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and with very comfortable beds. Lovely to be so close to Burford to be able to walk in for the shopping, pubs and restaurants (many of which are very good). Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. Easy and plentiful parking. Nothing, everything absolutely fine
