Modern look of interior. Was thoroughly disappointed with the dessert (some chocolate cake; desert surprise) not particularly flavoursome and it most definitely was not fresh. |

the food was overpriced and awful.staff were untrained and unhelpful.not really 4 star service or food at all. every time we ordered drinks they were different prices. |

Room very comfortable, all food excellent, room service very good, spa and treatments relaxing and enjoyable, staff friendly and helpful. This was our second stay and we will certainly use the hotel again. |

The standard of my room in the main block. The hot buffet breakfast (although not enough coffee available as this is served by a waitress, if you are lucky). The poor atmosphere in the restaurant during dinner and the "durge" muzak playing in the background. Also the over-attentiveness of the young staff. Five minutes after receiving my starter, a waiter asked if I had finished! There were three waiters standing directly behind me with nothing to do (think, the old-style Chinese restaurants). |

Hotel was very clean and spacious, services were all available Check out took ages as there was only one member of staff on duty at peak cheack out time, poor management ! |

The night staff we're very friendly and very helpful The room service breakfast had an 9-10am option but breakfast finished at 9am so when we received our breakfast at 10am it was slightly cold. Would have been nicer to receive a hotter fry up! |

Friendliness, comfortable room with excellent bathroom. I like the dining room/ lounge and the bar (!). At breakfast all the staff seem to disappear apart from the person welcoming you in. She was very helpful. It would be nice to have at least one other waitress to eg bring more tea etc. |

Our party really enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rooms,hotel ,sevice and meals were excellent. A big plus was the helpfulness,friendliness of all the staff that we came in contact with.We will certainly come again in the near future ,and we have highly recommended it to our family and friends The only slight drawback are the absence of lifts to the upper floors |

Eas of parking and access, friendly, generally very clean and plenty of amenities. Room a tad small and water not very hot. Cooked breakfast ok if you get there when it is fresh, otherwise it is dry and overcooked. Fried eggs rock hard. |

good quality of room and facilities for the price. tried to charge £99 per night on check out when had booked online for £49.99. Soon rectified but good job i was paying attention. |

The staff were excellent, they couldn't have helped any more. We asked for a herbal tea and they brought us 6! The swimming pool and gym were great. |

We came up to Loughborough as we were visiting our son who is at the University. I liked the fact that even though the hotel was full of visitors who came for a music festival and returned to the hotel in the early hours, we had been put in a room well away from them so were not disturbed by them. We booked the day before our visit on a special offer which made it excellent value for money. The only minor critisism I would have is that the Restaurant was fantastic for breakfast but for me personally the decor / tables did not provide a relaxed comfortable atmosphere for an evening meal. We have eaten an evening meal in the restaurant before and the room does not compliment the good food. |

The price we paid was really good, we even treat ourselves to breakfast in our room! Need clearer insturctions on websites on how to get to teh hotel as we reached the barrier and werent entirely sure if we were at the right place. Not an easy place to find. |

I found the staff on arrival to be very courteous and helpful. They were more than helpful when i asked for directions to a venue that i was going to attend. The accomodation was of a high standard and spotless. The hotel arranged for a taxi firm to pick me up and drop me off in the town centre. It was a very relaxing and pleasant enviroment. |

At £25 per room rate our stay was very good value, given the facilities. The swimming pool was excellent, and if I'd had more time would have tried the well equipped gym. I can recommend the fillet steak sandwich with stilton and a pint of local ale! |
