On checkout first they tried to charge me for newspapers for another room and then £50 for a dinner I had not had. Not impressed.

We had a wonderful stay. We went to visit our daughter who is at Loughborough Uni and it was a great location. The rooms were lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the pool and sauna. We are staying there again in September for 2 nights when our daughter graduates so really looking forward to staying again.

Comfortable accommodation. Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast with a lot of choice and fresh hot food with both meat & vegetarian options (which is unusual.) Would definitely stay here again. Nothing to complain about. Although not somewhere I would take the family as more suited to business it conference traveller. But as a conference centre would expect no less.

The first few hours were nice and quiet We were kept awake from 01.30 to 05.30 by drunken yobs, shouting and slamming doors throughout this time. We will not be staying there again!!!

it was convenient for the reasons of our visit. I complained about room 65 having so much dust sat on the curtains from the top down about two foot, it was not good when my son pulled the curtain and received a face full of dust. This is not good for him as he is an asthmatic. I did make my complaint at the desk when checking out but no compensation was offered neither some form of discount to the bill. I'm not one for complaining but when I ,am paying a good price for a room I do expect things such as cleaning to be up there with the best. I did find the food and drinks rather highly priced £3-40 for a pint of coke for my son, I should of bought him a beer £3-70 sorry to complain.

We only stayed for one night because my elder son is a student at Loughborough University. The room was excellent, clean, with all the comforts one would want. It is located within the university grounds so within very easy reach of the facilities there.

The hotel was conveniently situated at the campus, where fit pro conference was held. My room was small but very modern and clean - I felt as if I was back studying again. Which was nice feeling. The staff was nice and helpful, but in the bar they had no idea how to make bloody Mary... Apart from that very enjoyable stay and gym staff very helpful and professional, I would choose this location again without any doubt.

Business standard of facilities, free wi-fi in rooms. Location good for the University but a fair distance from the train station and no buses on a Sunday morning so prepare to use taxis or allow plenty of time to walk. Loughborough is a small town and outside of term-time the University can be very quiet with many facilities closed.

I ticked the box about the Hotel Staff as being good. The check in was very professional, the chap very polite and informative. However when I checked out and was asked was everything alright with my stay, I said yes except for doors slamming throughout the night due to poorly adjusted door closers and the comment went completely over the head of the receptionist. One felt that as one was leaving - so what!

A comfortable hotel, very nice room (bathroom excluded). Nice spa although "hotel type", swimming pool, bar. Proximity to the university campus and a Harvester restaurant some 500m away. Free wi-fi Bathroom - the investors/designers seem to have forgotten about the bathroom. With a very cosy, modern and nice room the bathroom seemed like it was stuck back in 1970 - instead of a modern walk-in shower there was a classic narrow bath with sticky shower curtain (very unpleasant...), not to mention the toilet and lack of bidet.. And the tiles loooked like they were about to fall off... The breakfast was superexpensive and the room service as well (I mean a 7gbp Toast and 10gbp pizza.. Makes you wonder what size it will be...). The steam sauna should have a shower to rinse the seats before use?

Stayed at Burleigh Court when pick up our son from Uni. As the hotel is on campus the location was excellent. We were V.impressed with the hotel. The staff very extremely helpful and welcoming and although this is primarily a business hotel the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The bar staff were very friendly and the bar had a good atmosphere.
