Good rooms and helpful staff

We came up for our son's graduation and found the hotel very clean and comfortable. The staff were particularly professional and welcoming, and went to a lot of trouble for us. Would certainly come again.

The main passageway is tiled so you can hear women wearing high heels when you are in rooms close to the passage

Burleigh Court is the best value for money hotel I have stayed in for many years. The quality of the service was suberb, attentive and helpful, the spa was a bonus and the food of excellent taste and presentation, particularly breakfast. There could be more menu choice and the beds a little softer but these are minor concerns which did not alter a splendid stay. You do need to rely on Taxis if not driving but I found the location very relaxing, the hotel was not too busy, despite a wedding, and reading was easy in the spacious public rooms. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay again.

Location perfect if you are visiting students at the University. Close to town centre, which is just a 15 minute walk away. Shuttle buses run frequently. Hotel just what we expected, rooms and facilities were excellent. It is a conference/business hotel so the place is a bit soleless with very wide corridoors, not one to choose for a romantic weekend!! All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient.

Two minor gripes. Firstly the hairdryers in the rooms need longer cords. They are pre-connected into a socket, so you need to bend over to dry your hair properly. Secondly, although breakfast was good overall, the buffet style means that fried eggs are left longer than they should. I was faced with a tray full of hard fried eggs obviously passed their best. Need to check these more regularly or cook eggs to order. Scrambled eggs also were hard and unappealing.
