Food, Scenery, Staff service (excellent - mostly).

Internet access not free and this price level it should be. £1 for 1hr is extortion. that 10,000 times what most people pay for access from home. Internet Access should be up there with hot and cold water. A given. Car parking should be confined to side of property not front of building which spoils its beautiful appearance - some people had parked across path way at near coach house blocking access to room.

This is a beautifully situated, well kept, country house style hotel. The garden is very attractive and worth exploring. It enjoys an enviable location with fabulous views. A smooth check in was followed by us being shown to room 5 at the front of the house, as I’d requested when booking. It is a ‘Superior double’ and lived up to that description. Large windows on two sides added to the spacious feel. Decoration was very pleasant and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was very well presented and had clearly had a recent complete refurbishment. The food here is excellent. We ate a delicious two course meal and had no room for puddings. A well thought through menu with delicious combinations of elements for each dish. Top rate experience albeit at a fairly steep price.Outstanding service throughout our stay.

Excellent views from our room on the top floor. The room had a great english country feel to it - superb for anyone who wants an antique look to the room with a comfortable side to it.

Only gripe would be how small the toilet/bathroom was. Toilet was a few inches away from the wall in front of it and the shower had a very low ceiling on one half so that you would hit your head constantly if you were not careful. Not fun.

A lovely hotel, with great food, very kind staff and in a beautiful area. Try to arrive early to enjoy it to the full.

Checkout at 1030 on a weekend could be extended.

The food was fantastic - one of the best fillet steaks ever! Definitely fine dining. Breakfast was a real treat with four different orders all cooked to perfection.

We had no drinking glasses in our rooms and had to ask for them. A shaving/magnifying mirror would have been useful. We had to pay for internet access - for a hotel of this price and calibre it should have been free, or built into the room charge.

I liked everything about the Burleigh Court Hotel. The drive there through the beautiful countryside, the beautiful surroundings, the warm welcome from the staff, the amazing little cottage with the 4 poster bed, the atmosphere, the delightful food.....I Was 5 star all the way. The breakfast was very tasting and the lady who owns the hotel was extremely friendly, as were all the staff. I miss it already and cant wait to go back!

All the staff were attentive and genuinely keen to make our stay enjoyable. It was difficult to fault the cooking; every meal was prepared and served with great care.

The bed was rather hard and unfortunately my shower had only two temperatures - icy cold and cold - although the bath ran hot.

Picturesque location, very quiet, perfect for romantic break, lovely breakfast.

A little bit away from the main sights in the cotswolds if thats what you're going for, but not too much of a drive.
