In a virtually empty hotel, on our 3 rd visit, we were given what seemed to be a single room for 4 nights No effort was made to clear snow so hotel was inaccessible by car. Rather had the impression that due to low season - thehotel is run by skeleton staff.

Extremely warm staff, very comfortable and cosy room, beautiful downstairs living rooms, exceptional breakfast. We didn't want to leave

Finding the hotel was difficult but in the end they came to rescue us.

Service was excellent - staff appeared from no-where and nothing was too much touble. Food was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Would defintley recomend the Burleigh for an over-night or weekend visit. Exceeded all our expectations!

The elegent House and furnishings were lovely. The food was wonderful and staff very friendly without being stuffy. Good size tele and newly refurbished bathroom.

I would have expected more toiletries. One of each thing between 2 for 2 nights. A bit poor. would have loved a bath robe. Sounds cheeky but in an almost empty hotel a free upgrade would have gone a long way.We had the furthest room away on top floor. Hubby has arthritis. Stairs a little difficult.

Location, location, location. Welcoming, knowledgeable and curteous staff who were attentive but not overpowering. Quiet, tranquil and picturesque surroundings. Rooms were individual, spacious and clean. Food superb !

Not for the budget conscious. A £340 bed and breakfast stay for 4 adults in two rooms for one night, was a £630 ouch the following morning after an evening meal, some drinks [though not excessive] and a newspaper

A small family-run hotel completely unlike the impersonal chains but with a high degree of comfort and facilities. The hotel is an attractive Georgian building in idyllic co8untryside, very quiet at night and with excellent catering. The staff were friendly and helpful - I had a flat tyre on my car one morning, the handyman helped to change the wheel and we were told where to find a local tyre company. The owners said they would have got us to our destination that day - a pre-booked visit to Highgrove - if we had not been able to get the car sorted out. All in all the whole stay was first class.

Our only comment is that the hotel was not easy to find, even with sat nav and improved signing would help.

Stayed at Burleigh Court on a number of occasions. Staff always helpful and mannerly. Good food and nice rooms. Would recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home. The staff were exceptionally accomodating and on the ball. The grounds are a delight and the hotel building itself is charming.

The staff are incredibly helpful its like staying in your own country house, very relaxed and quiet

The staff were very professional in their approach but very friendly and accomodating. The views across the valley were beautiful. Having a room so close to the victorian pool made for a very relaxing time; as we were in the area for a funeral it proved a great distraction! The breakfast was fabulous!!! Such a wide selection (even for a veggie!) and well made! Edwina the cat, however, was the star of the show! We wanted to take her home!!! Hats off all round.....

The curved steps leading from the rear of the hotel to the stable block were precarious to say the least... Especially on the way down!!! Nothing to complain about though. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful country house hotel with amazing views. Delicious and well presented food in a nice relaxing dining room. Bedrooms are very comfortable with countryside views or garden views. One of the best places we have stayed in.

There really isn't anything to fault but if you require wifi access you have to pay for it which is quite unusual today.

The lovely relaxing ambiance of the hotel, extremely helpful staff but best of all was the excellent food. Dinner was divine and breakfast was brilliant with superb choice, freshly cooked and all served in a relaxing manner.
