Burley Court HotelBath Road, BH1 2NP Bournemouth (Show map) Good, Score from 98 reviews“we found the staff to be very friendly, and the two girls that waited at breakfast were fantastic, well done. will go again.”
Carol,
Swindon
Conveniently situated on the Bath Road, with a large parking lot and entrance with all amenities on the level. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and night life, the shopping center, the pier and beaches. This independently owned 3-star hotel has been run by the same family for nearly 50 years and continues to provide the same excellent standards of service. The staff is courteous, friendly and always willing to help when needed, with a night staff also available. The lounge and bar are perfect for formal or informal occasions. Furnished for your comfort with a light and airy atmosphere, it's an ideal venue for refreshments and light lunches. There is an attractive, seasonally heated, outdoor swimming pool where an open-air lunch can be enjoyed by the poolside or, for indoor entertainment, a game room is provided. This hotel is now a completely smoke-free establishment. Hotel Rooms: 38

From the Start we were greeted well on arrival and the Receptionist made a point of rembering My Surname ,when talking to me and answered Professionally all our Questions .We Booked our Evening Meal a Four course that was inexpensive and we did not get rushed at all.The Room was exceptionally clean and spacious with onsuite Bathroom . The Restaurant was clean and well presented in fact l felt embarrassed as we only paid £40.00 for the initial booking Room and Breakfast for two us The Servive was excellent .and the staff were execptionally friendly in fact the whole experince would make me return as a future customer .I feel this is worthy to let people know as the service was of high standard and thestaff the same .The location was perfect and all of this made us have a relaxing stay. I initially had cocerns about a so called recent guest whom had made unjustified comments about the service .When after reading their Review a week earlier all they were concerned about was the Managment having personal issues .and this review in fact is about the service Not peoples personal life maybe this person needs to answer the questions instead of getting into trouble. As the comments they made actually very close to defermation of character Did they not realise that Hotels are constantly being checked for Health and Safety and Hygiene Regulations ?

Staff were helpful when required. The hotel is good value for money and it's location is very good too. Parking at front was also very good. Breakfast was a bit substandard, they could have done more for the price we paid for it. Minor criticism -the decor of the place was a bit 1970's, needs updating one feels.

Staff were friendly and polite, helpful when needed. The windows in our room were not able to be shut properly so the noise from the main road kept us awake most of the night.

Convenient for visiting all main attractions in Bournemouth. Easy to find from the main road int o the town, ample free parking and regular bus service right outside of hotel. Breakfast excellent, very good service by all. Matresses were a bit hard and not much water from shower. But we were staying out of season and expected similar.

We stayed at Burley Court almost 24 years ago, on honeymoon, and had always intended going back to relive our happy time there. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The location is ideal for getting to the beach and shops. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and clubs within a few minutes walk. The hotel was very quiet whilst we were there, I think only us and two other families, you could almost sense the tumbleweed rolling past! This made it feel a little odd although reception staff said that they are usually almost full at weekends. Our room was cold when we got in to it and we couldn't turn the radiator on but then found an oil filled radiator which warmed the room quite quickly.
