the location was very good plesant helpful staff communial area nice
the old carpet in the bathroom has a very unplesant smell coming from around the toilet even after a shampoo the smell returned as soon as the carpet dried no window & barley enough room to get in and close the door
I would recommend this excellent hotel, for its cleanliness, good food, and its décor on approach to the reception and lounge area, the owner mr.luke hasker and staff were willing to co-operate at all times the hotel is nicely situated to all area's of bournemouth
everything was satisfactory
Close to the city centre and 5 mins walking distance from the seaside. Nice garden with pool. Friendly staff.
Lovely warm rooms
Found a few peanuts on the floor and some sort of peach seeds in the bathroom.
location, parking , easy reach to shops
swiming pool was too cold.
clean and simple
hot water was not available late in night in the bath
Flimsy bed, dirty windows, no shower towels, unfriendly staff.
Hard working friendly staff. Beautiful gardens to Sit in. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Ideal location.
Room not as big as I expected for a 4 star hotel
There's a lot of things regarding this hotel that are negative. Starting with the reception area- we were greeted by a gentleman who just gave us the key and didn't tell us where anything was in the hotel which I thought was bad customer service right there- upon entering the room it was very dated plus looked like it hadn't been cleaned for us. Upon complaining I was handed bleach for the bath room and told to clean the room myself. There were bugs and spiders in the bathroom and in the towels- when I requested new towels I was refused! And apparently it wasn't a shock that there were bugs! After complaining around 5 times on the first day we were finally moved in the morning. The second room wasn't really any better- the hot water didn't work so after my friend got burned with the water we were only left with freezing cold water. We were only using the room to wash and sleep in so we felt that as we were really being ignored there was really no point in trying to reason with the staff. If your looking for a cheap break away then this is a steal- but you must accept you get what you pay for.. Bad customer service and a filthy room.
Good location, clean, friendly staff ;-)
Room is dated, looks like granny bedroom, no any towels in the room on my arrival. Very low water pressure, impossible to have a shower. Very squeaky floor in the bedroom which was annoying.
Free parking, short walk to the beach
Room 26 and the bathroom was very dated 80s, squeaky and uneven beds, window that did not close properly and with a view of a roof. Pipes outside our window made terrible noise if anyone took shower above our floor. Only stay there one night so maybe We didn't need comfort ?! £140 for one night Not good value for money.
Really nice front of the house staff. General manager really helpful. In general, the staff are really good. had a delightful time in the swimming pool ! :)
The pressure in the shower is really bad. Maybe they should look at this issue. You can't have a nice shower in the room I stayed in. the room definitely need some re-decoration and the view of old ceiling tiles is definitely a put off. the carpet also showed a lot of stains and a deep cleaning would definitely make the room more appealing.
Cleanliness Daily service Close to the beach Pool
Too dated decor Floors are making noise when walk around The drain in the shower doesn't take the water quick enough No little fridge in the room Hair dryer in the room wasn't working
Nice location and hotel clean
No wifi connection in the rooms
The sea front
The room was very dated, the bed was awful, it was very thin and you could feel the wood frame beneath and springs inside the matters, everything else in the room was very dated, the bathroom was carpeted which is not hygienic and to top it off the shower was rubbish, if you would like a comfortable stay in Bournemouth, don't stay here
Free and easy parking in front of hotel walking distance of the beach few minutes drive from Asda supermkt walking distance from shopping area staff happy to put my ice packs in hotel freezer overnight. liked that doors to rooms at electronic locks and used a swipe card to open so could carry it with you. Outdoor pool was lovely as weather was great so swam everyday and perfect temperature. clean towels and linen. Had room on side of hotel overlooking pool and was it was quiet after 11pm. Reception staff helpful and friendly.
the coffee in the coffee sachets quite strong. maid service did not top up the tea and coffee sachets everyday. One of the single beds squeaked which was a bit annoying. Shower in bathroom was low and my 6ft son had to bend his knees to have a shower. ok if you are under 5ft 6.
close to beach oneway and close to town the other way
pubs empty at night
It was clean
Pool was mostly shaded all day which was a let down .
The only thing good about this terrible hotel was the location!
Staff where rude.....the rooms where dated.....the pool area had several health and safety issues. The cleaners didnt take out the bin in the bathroom when we switched rooms due to the shower being either extremely scolding or freezing cold and lack of electricity sockets. The new room had the same problem. Lastly the reception guy/ barman was on rations wen it came to giving us ice!
location is fantastic if i could have had a proper shower i would have been content.
needs a good steam clean has the feel of gods waiting room about it, the tv room looks like an old peoples home
Staff were helpful and friendly Reception were always happy to help Swimming pool was nice to use
Expensive for what it was Breakfast was not to the standard expected for the price - cheap sausages, no fruit, yoghurt or pastries - seemed quite dated. Could get more, better and cheaper at the pub. Room was also tired and needed decorating Plumbing - shower was slow and did not drain
The lounge, swimming pool and area.
Bedroom needed updating. Bad water marks on ceiling and wall from roof/walls. Light bulbs missing. Breakfast was lacking - would have liked some fruit and yogurt as we traveled with our daughter and young grandchildren. Bar shut at 10.10pm on Saturday evening.
Swimming pool area & cooked part of breakfast & decent coffee!
Very dated rooms particularly bathrooms. Absolutely no fruit (not even tinned ) or yoghurts at breakfast.
Rooms clean and tidy, staff pleasant.
It was very nice, not far from beach, only fault was top floor shower was terrible, no pressure just dribble? But would recommend.
