Score from 197 reviews Very good
The view from the bar area was great, the executive room had a large bed that was very comfortable and the full English breakfast was very well cooked and was very filling.
The shower curtain stucked around you when the over powerful shower was on. The curtain needed replacing with a glass shower door
Very comy, nice sea view and good breakfast
The room was quite hot
Location was good with plenty of off-street parking. Friendly helpful staff. Upgraded to a very nice room.
Venetian blinds, no curtains. Shower had no hot water and a trickle when running. Very soft bed.
The friendly staff; the lobby lay-out; the bar; the sea-view; the availability of decaf tea!; the efforts to help with car park regs; and of course the price.
The mattress needs replacing. It's awful. The shower temperature was too hot and not responding to adjustment.
not a five star hotel, no bath in room, all looking a bit tied and tatty
Bathroom was in need of repairs step into shower particularly
Easy to get to. Very friendly staff. Great food and good value
I always wanted to stay in a seafront hotel! Really enjoyed, particularly the lovely view from the restaurant.
The only problem was the fact that the lift was out of order. It was a bit of a slog up to the third floor.
View , room comfort and excellent breakfast
Some noise of people and traffic .
The hotel was great, management were helpful, most staff were happy and helpful, cleaners were lovely, rooms were great. Overall great experience
Felt unwelcome by breakfast staff at times, room was facing a construction site
We liked the hotel, the staff were very nice and welcoming the location infront of the beach very clean, I look forward to stay there again hope soon
the spaciousness and comfort of the room having breakfast looking out over the sea staff very helpful and friendly we were offered (and accepted) help with carrying our suitcases upstairs
We failed to connect to the WiFi - signal strength was very poor
Spacious room, comfort, room service, breakfast
View from room
Large room, good wifi. Lovely breakfast.
No biscuits, no feather pillows and I would have liked curtains or a blackout. The blinds were not enough.
Location ,Staff, Food
Poor quality bed
Peronnal at reception was really good Large family room Nice building
Silicons in Bathrooms were awful Bathroom design is not good To much noise early in the morning because Windows dont isolate well
Many things: 1. The TV was not working as it did not receive any signals 2. There was no tissue box 3. The room was not convenient / comfortable - third floor with no proper window or view despite me requesting specifically to the staff the previous Thursday. 4. Disappointed with Michelle - front desk staff as she did not act on my request to provide a tissue box or to look into the non-functioning TV - it was a week day! 5. Hugely disappointed with the casual attitude of dealing with a customer - some of your staff need to be trained more and must understand this is serious business. OVERALL, HUGELY DISAPPOINTED !
Amazing room, with everything one needs and more. Very clean & spacious. Great location and view.
Location on the beach was great
While the Hotel was very clean the carpet needs replacing and the WIFI was very slow. The bed was uncomfortable as it seemed old
Very friendly and helpful staff. Made us feel very welcome
No menu choice for young children. It may be naff for a good quality hotel with excellent cuisine, but to have fish fingers, or something similar, on the menu for children wouldn't be a crime!
It was a lovely setting. Room very clean. Good facilities i.e good hairdrier and iron. Tea and coffee/ water well stocked up each day. Staff very helpful.
Only problem is the lift, especially if on 3rd floor
Choose this hotel for a last minute 1 night stop over. Family room was as advertised and perfect for needs. Hotel had a great position over looking the sea and looked in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities were ok. Cooked breakfast was good but buffet limited. 25% discount on room was a good gesture due to the issues (see below).
On the night of a stay the hotel was hosting an 18th birthday party. The loud music was annoying but not a big issue. We had been aware a “function" was occuring when we booked. However the party had to be stopped early due to some reason and everyone kicked out onto the street at which point there was a lot shouting, screaming and fighting. Police called and the general disturbance went on till about midnight. Our room was right above the entrance to the hotel so we heard it all. Bed was also pretty soft which I don't like.
The room was spacious, clean and had great facilities. Good breakfast times and free parking on Sundays and bank holidays. Lovely free toiletries!
There is no sound proofing so we were woken by noisy conversations in the corridor very early (other guests not staff).
Beautiful double aspect sea view room
