Location near to the train station and all activities. The price of the breakfast - too expensive £17.50. We stayed at a 5* hotel in Dublin before Christmas, breakfast cost £12.00.

Stylishly equipped rooms One room very noisy due to A/C just on the front of windows, given other room on the other side where construction works started at 4.30 am. Really ancient windows allow all the noise goes into the room.

We got upgraded which was a lovely bonus on top of the hotel being in a great place,so close to all the shops. The food was great, and the service was great.Would recommend The Burlington Hotel to anyone going to stay on Birmingham, its where I'll be staying the next time I stay in Birmingham. There's not alot that can be done about this but there was rather alot of noise late at night, coming from outside.Which I know is not the hotels fault, but that was the only thing I didn't like.

the building is wonderful. I loved the Victorian architecture and features. My room was pleasant and the walk in shower superb. staff very friendly and courteous. I thought the food choice and delievery was average and very overpriced for what it was. £17.50 for a meagre breakfast - not good. And a £3 fee for room service There was also a very large stain in the corner of the ceiling - damp I think.

Helpful and polite nature of all the staff, restaurant and reception. Ambience of the hotel and cleanliness throughout. Lovely shower, bathing facilities, and linens Appreciated the prompt and generous attention and recompense to guests for the disruption and inconvenience caused by ongoing building noise throughout the night as the new station buildings opposite were readied for opening.

Bed and room were very well appointed, and shower was particularly good. Extremely pricey, although the bathroom had been renovated, attention to detail wasn't great. Also, aircon was non functional. Had to open window, and was very noisy outside. Arrived too late to be bothered to get any help.

Good large rooms and hotel within walking distance of bull ring and theatre. At present there are building works outside and major at that. The outside is dirty and noisy. Our night was disrupted with work outside our window all night, lorries, sirens, people shouting, alarms, lights.not restful at all.

Central Location and in my home city. Spacious room. Check in/out young man called Jordan very helpful. Bar closed @ 11.30 even to residents, (even though 3 couples were still in residence) after a night out in the city it would have been nice to sit and chill before bed ! NOISE .. I had requested a quiet room !!! but we did not sleep a wink with construction works going on all night close by and despite complaining to hotel next morning , I was promised a call to maybe discuss compensation or a free return visit, have not rec'd a call as yet !

Great location and rooms where good size and clean..comfy beds and good facilities. Felt uneasy at night as there did not appear to be anyone on reception during the late evening/night. No security considering the location was directly in the city town centre anyone could of wondered into the guest areas...This may need to be addressed !!

pleasant staff at reception-willing to accommodate requests. pleasant room in quiet section of hotel on request as per booking. when I first stayed here 6 years ago you could get a reasonably interesting dinner-no longer. a hotel of this standard should be able to provide a far more interesting cuisine so the visitor wouldn't need to eat out.

Staff were very helpful. The room was very nice and the hotel is very convenient for New Street station and shops and is walking distance from Broad St and the Jewellery Quarter. The layout of the hotel is a bit odd and I got lost a couple of times. There was also some building work going on nearby which could be heard in the room. Breakfast is extremely expensive so I didn't even try it.
