Perfect venue for my city centre stay...set in the centre of all the best shop and with quality bars and restaurants only a few steps away...hotel clean comfortable and worth every penny...will definately go back. Not enough staff on check out next morning ,however the receptionist that was on duty was absolutely lovely and very effiecient...a really small quibble. |

The people who work there are lovely and helpful. And the location is convenient. The physical facilities are going down hill. My room (non smoking) stank of cigarette smoke and there was a burn hole in the duvet; there was a large tear in the curtain and a large stain on the chair; duct tape on parts of the hall carpet. |

Worked at NEC not really - breakfast a bit expensive at 17.50! Could buy a lot of eggs and bacon for that! |

Everywhere was clean and well-kept, including the room and the hotel itself. The staff were very welcoming too. |

Great location, good service, but really old hotel... A bit of renewing would be nice. Really old facilities, the bathroom is broken, and the room is too small. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didnt have facilities i had phoned to ask if they had (hairdryer & straighteners), shower not adjustable, bed very uncomfortable, air conditioner noisy, no tv remote (so couldnt use the tv), fuse had blown so no power points worked initially (fixed by staff though). |
