Great location. Arrived at hotel after very early flight, had been told before hand that if there was a room they would accomodate us and thankfully they were able to. Room was very comfortable.

It is a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated. Our room was spacious, and everything else up to expectations. The bits of mould in the shower - from experience I know how tough it can be, but use Dettol Mould & Mildew Remover and it will remove the toughest of moulds.

Friendly staff. Good location. Food in restaurant (Scottish steak house) excellent. Large bed. First room allocated not acceptable, as no large window and so very claustrophobic, even though large room. Service in Scottish steak house restaurant very pleasant, however, very slow. Breakfast very expensive, so we didn't have it, but would have liked to if it had been better value.

Great location opposite New Street Station, friendly and welcoming, disabled friendly. Booked a deluxe room and were upgraded to a suite which was great! Our only dislike was that the service was slow in the dining room with dinner and again at breakfast service was very slow, we had to ask what had happened to our order.

Staff were friendly Fire aram was off for a long time and didn't have any central heating. It was noisy and cold! Also no hot showers until 22:00. I expected to have at least internet working in the room ., but that was also not working. I was not satisfied with the service in general, thinking about the amount I had to pay!. The people at the repection could have at least apologized (about the central heating, noisiness, etc)in the morning when I was checking out, but they didn't do that either. For these reasons, I do not recommend this Hotel.

The character of slightly faded grandeur/opulence. Breakfast was great and overseen by a lovely old chap. Radiator a bit noisy!

We enjoyed the fact that the hotel felt like a real luxury but without being pretentious or over priced. The huge bed in our room was a real luxury.

Right in the town centre, excellent for the Christmas German Market and the Bullring shopping. Only 5 minutes walk to the Town Hall for a great concert. Staff were very helpful and friendly. No hotel parking and local car parks were expensive - £32 for two nights.

Bang in the city centre and a haven from the bustle of the city. A old fashioned hotel, sympathetically modernised, offering a relaxing high quality accomadation

The location is brill for all the shopping, and the staff where friendly and very helpflu to us, we will be returning next year for sure. Our room needed abit more attention to detail as the runners on the beds where dirty and ripped, no glasses in bathroom and only enough shower gel etc for one person when there was two of us.

It was very comfortable, relaxing and friendly. I had a very nice dinner served in my room. Lovely huge bath but you have to bring your own bath oil. It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast option. The bathroom was clean and massive but rather a cold floor, and no curtain on the window, although it was private, just not very cosy. For the price, I thought a dressing gown would be supplied.

Nice spacious room and bathroom. Very polite staff. The radiator in our room (408) was very noisy, you had to play around with the temperature gauge to silence it, but then ended up with a rather warm room! Windows don't keep out street noise. You could here the reversing alert of the garbage truck at around 6am in the morning.

I have stayed in this hotel many times befoe, the hotel staff are very helpful the receptionists are always happy to help and the breakfast is always lovely. The location of the hotel is fab, you can shop then drop it into the hotel it is that near. Restaurants are right on the doorstep if you want to go out to eat. I would always choose the Burlington hotel. There was nothing I disliked. Everything was lovely.

Old fashioned stylish and comfortable hotel. Good service in restaurant other than slow with meals. My room was at front of hotel overlooking the main road-more soundproofing required.
