On the first day when we check in, the reception (Ms. Laura) were very rude. We are on holiday and looking forward to enjoy our stay but end up bad experience with this hotel that I stayed so far in my life. |

The attentiveness of the staff, the variety of main dishes on offer at dinner, particularly for vegetarians, and good quality buffet breakfast. Nothing at all, although parking looked as if it might be a problem for guests arriving by car. |

The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant, room service was very good and quick. The hotel is very accessible for local amenities. A bit over priced should have included breakfast. |

Friendly Staff, family friendly, decent facilities and good food. Room was a bit faded, service in the bar for food was painfully slow to the point where I had to complain. Refund given on children's meals. |

Spacious lounges and bar, good position in Bowness, very friendly staff, nice warm room. Rather expensive for one night stays and swimming pool disappointing. |

The spa. We took dinner in the Sillhouettes restaurant and the food was very poor. Our main courses were undercooked and the service was not of the expected standard, we had to wait a considerable length of time for our desserts to be served. |

Could have been more staff on at breakfast, plates and bowls had sometimes run out and had to wait to get hold of someone. Sausages could have been cooked better, Implements for self serve at breakfast got very hot if left in food trays. If it was me I would have someone serving the food, this think would have been a lot better! |

Very handy for the town and a good base for exploring many popular walks in area. Good breakfast. Even with the grumbles we've listed we would visit again. Room was not ready for 3pm check in, and we had to wait 25 minutes, not a great start after a long journey. Our early breakfast (ordered previous afternoon) only arrived after chasing and room service hadn't received our order. |

The rooms were very clean and quite modern-it was a pleasant surprise as the outside rear of premises looked quite run down. The evening meal was very good- Thought the spa facilities were very dated and the pool was not very clean.Had quite a long wait for our first course-over 30 mins-this was very difficult with hungry children! The surcharge for room service-have never come across this is any hotel before? |

The Hotel is situated in very good position and the location is quiet and not too far away from the centre We thought that a breakfast could have been included in the price that we paid was a bit disappointed that we would have had to pay an additional cost for this. |
