Pleasant walk to city centre through park, when there was a mix up on the bill they sorted it out without any unpleasantness, quiet apart from road traffic noise, We ordered food the first night and it was over done and not great quality. We only ordered fish & chips and burger & chips perhaps if we had ordered steak etc it would have been better.

Friendly staff and not far to walk to town breakfast good except they ran out of beans and the room we stayed in the bed could have been a bit better, but all in all we enjoyed our stay and will go back.

It was convenient for what we needed to do, and cheap. The shower in our room didn't work. The tables and floors (bar/restaurant) were sticky. General "tiredness" of furniture.

The free WiFi - all hotels everywhere should offer this Breakfast - no porridge ! (When asked the waitress said the chef is 'waiting for it to come in ....) Very much pre-cooked food apart from the eggs. We suspected the bacon and tomatoes had been sitting around for hours.

Clean (well if you didn't look for a socket behind the furniture, where it was filthy!) Paintwork was aged. But good location, and good for money. Very comfortable beds. Excellently trained reception staff. Could do with a lick of pain, and some cleaning behind the cupboards...but it would cost so much, and shove up the price of staying there, it's fine as it is...I've stayed in a lot worse on business and paid more money!!

Staff were friendly but bar staff seriously lacked knowledge of how to pour a drink and what goes into mixing drinks which to my husband and I seemed because of absence of senior member of staff. The Bar area was unwelcoming with only few seats for comfort and I watched numerous guests not bother to even stop and have a drink as there was no where to sit.

Good location Disappointed with room, and pleased we hadn't paid full price. The matters was very uncomfortable and the bathroom needed a good clean. Expected more from a Ramada.

The staff are the high point of the Hotel. Very helpful and friendly. I read a few negative reviews on Trip Advisor before going and was pleased to note that we never experienced any of these (water was very hot, bar area was warm and the restaurant was very accommodating when as a family of 5 we only ordered one meal after being out all evening - late night snack!!) We visited Bury to go to the Christmas Market which I highly recommend.

“I found the standard to be very good - worked out perfectly for my family, who really enjoyed it. It was relaxed, fun and friendly. Especially important to us at the moment was money as we have to be very cautious with it, so I really wanted this stay to be ideal - and it was.” Andy, Enfield |
