The Busby Hotel is situated on the south of Glasgow in a tree-lined avenue beside the river cart. This comfortable en suite rooms at the property come with free Wi-Fi and feature satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The room was spacious and it was quiet at night even with the window open. The decor and furniture including the bed were very old. The bed was uncomfortable and creaked badly. Very old fashioned lift which, after using once, was too scared to use again.

I liked the staff they were lovely and very helpful The place is just so worn and aged. Shower didn't work properly it really needs a good overhaul

The hotel was close to my parents house who I was visiting, and the price was reasonable The creaking floorboards, the blackened tiles in the showers, the small, lumpy bed, and the small blankets.The phone in the room didn't ring so that when my parents phoned my room I didn't get the call.

Excellent service - friendly and helpful staff - clean rooms and public areas. Good wi-fi service. Good breakfasts. Some areas in need of updating but believe new management is dealing with this. Generally, excellent value for money. The bar food did not come up to the standard I would expect for the price. No information about facilities at the hotel available in the room.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Really enjoyed my stay, and would definitely go back. Safe and secure parking. It was a small bit far from Glasgow city centre, situated in a residential suburb.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bedroom was clean and tastefully redecorated The floor in the room was very Squeakie and the decoration in the public area (reception dinning room and stairway needs upgraded

I had a superb experience at the Busby Hotel - I was concerned after reading negative reviews,but discovered the Hotel is now under new management and my goodness it is a superb place for great service,spacious clean rooms,silent night sleep and excellent food served both breakfast wise (highly recommend, it is a bargain, and the superb pub grub restaurant - great tasty food at very very reasonable prices. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel, with their very very friendly helpful staff to all. I had absolutely no negative experiences at the Busby Hotel and Highly recommend it to anyone

Fantastic value for money, just by the train station and a superb breakfast curtains didn't really close - I felt if the room had had a tiny bit of money spent on it in terms of curtain hooks and a touch up paint job it would've been a good investment. However with the price being so low I wouldn't complain and would stay again.

Jolene (the Manager) was the best thing there by far trying hard to cover a run down, understaffed and very poorly organised Hotel. The room was warm and there was hot water. That we were only there for 1 night It seemed that the last refit was in the early '80s and the hotel really looked in desperate need of some TLC. The mattress was extremely hard. The hotel was so understaffed we felt sorry for the girl in charge. The owners should sell it to someone who has at least a little interest in running a hotel. The picture of the room on the web bore absolutely no relation to the room we were given. I felt embarrassed that I had brought my wife to such a hotel.

The busby Hotel is a very friendly place and the staff are excellent. Food is also good, fresh and cooked well. The out side of the building is a little run down and does not do the inside o the Hotel justice.
