Mercure Farnham Bush Hotel    

Very helpful and friendly receptionists! Hotel has character and popular with wedding parties, with a very late night bar and gorgeous surroundings. The courtyard was beautiful and free car parking available was a bonus. Walking distance to Farnham centre with lots of shopping and restaurants.

The room we stayed in was clean however the only downside was the floorboards creaking at every step. This should be looked at as it makes it uncomfortable to rest and can be heard downstairs too.

The spacious comfortable room, and the excellent breakfast, served till 10.30am at the weekend.

Excellent location, right in city centre but yet very quite and peaceful. Friendly staff, superb breakfast buffet. Cozy bar with fireplace. Large garden and courtyard areas.

Room a bit dull, very uncomfortable narrow double bed.

The grounds, having their own secure parking and comfortable, adequately equiped rooms.

Food and drink were relatively expensive so we didn't partake much of those.

Breakfast not included in room price. Extract fan in bathroom not working. No key for door leading to the garden.

Very friendly staff - spacious room and clean - close to town centre which is old and beautiful - breakfast was lovely and personalised ( poached eggs done as they should be ). Would visit again.

Two bulbs needed replacing and the shower had a loose part so we didn't use it. Mentioned to Reception when we checked out.

Nice old building with character, great central location with easy access to all of the local amenities. Ample parking and helpful staff.

We stayed in the old block, it was looking very tired / tatty, stains on the wall, sash ropes snapped, no heating, and dirty towels. For the price I would still expect better.

My wife and I often stay at the Bush since it is convenient when visiting a family member. We like the hotel and its location very much.

On this trip, when we stayed overnight on Easter Sunday to Monday, the whole hotel was cold. Our room was completely cold when we arrived and we had to go out whilst we waited for it to warm up and on the morning of our departure the restaurant where we had breakfast was only heated by two little fan heaters; these were totally inadequate and we were really cold whilst we ate our breakfast. When we complained at the front desk all we got was an explanation (essentially the hotel had very few guests) but no apology.
