The staff were very friendly, and did their utmost to help us . The hotel was cosy and very relaxed. The rooms were clean and well arranged. I was travelling with my young son and they were very good to him. I left a valuable bag in room and forgot to pack it . Hotel rang that afternoon to arrange to get it posted to me . They are calling me Monday to arrange it's delivery . That was very good of them . Hotel very near causeway and rope bridge , which as an Irish person I found to be a lifetime experience . The area is the most beautiful in Ireland .

Very clean rooms, excellent food and great value for money, but above all the staff. Every single member of staff we encountered were brilliant. Very polite and cheerfull and happy to chat with residents. They really are the hotels best asset. The pool area is past its best, its cold, dimly lit, tired and cheerless, but worst of all we got fed up with the swimming lessons taking place late afternoon. Absolutely no chance of a quiet relaxing swim or relaxing in the sauna.

I have been coming to this hotel from the late 90s before I had my daughter. This is the 3rd occasion that I have brought her to it. We both love the pool and the relaxed atmosphere both of the hotel itself and the attitude of the staff. Plus it's convenient to the north coast seaside areas and we just love that part of country. It is not that we didn't like anything particularly but it is a bit worn/threadbare in spots and could do with a bit of a cosmetic overhaul - pool - tiles coming off, changing rooms a bit bleak etc. Some of the upholstery in the main reception area is very worn too. We suggest that maybe the Saturday music could start a little earlier say 9pm ot 9:30pm as I know my 8-year old daughter loves music and the later start (10:30) on the 21st was way too late for her.

At the beginning of my meal, a waitress offered me honeyed ham. I told her that I had ordered turkey and ham. She told me that the turkey was on it's way, so I accepted her offer of the ham, because I thought I would also be able to get turkey as well. Another waitress appeared soon afterwards, with a platter of turkey and ham, and she ignored me as I already had meat on my plate. Apparently honeyed ham was an option, while turkey and ham was another option. Although the food was good, this was poor service in my opinion, caused by a lack of clarity.

Good value, country location yet near shopping. Food reliably good and generous facilities. Tired decor, doors not fitting and needing slamming. Cold dining area in bar.

Loved the hotel and all aspects of service wonderful. One exception the food in the dining room was second rate. Describe as fair cafe grub. Waiting staff poorly trained yet pleasant. Dinner spoilt the evening for us....... Food and only the food

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the hotel. We found the food excellent, we do compliment the chef. The Country and Western duo on Saturday evening were fab Both my wife and myself agree the hotel could do with a facelift, it`s looking a little shabby

The first thing we noticed when we arrived at the hotel was the helpfullness and friendliness of the staff. They couldnt do more for us, from booking taxis's, restaurants, etc they were great. Oh I nearly forgot, my brother was playing golf on Sunday morning and would have to leave the hotel before the kitchen was open to get breakfast. He asked for tea and toast but no, the kitchen staff went out of their way to ensure he got a full cooked breakfast before he headed to Castlerock golf course. In my book, that was above the call of duty and tops on my list for service.

This was our first visit to the Bushtown Hotel, and was in all a pleasant two day stay. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff very friendly. The food, both the breakfasts and evening meals, was excellent, and this was noticed by the volume of people using the hotel. We chose this hotel on the outskirts of Coleraine, because of its country-side location, but handy to main routes. Another plus point is the bedrooms are situated on the opposite side of the hotel to the function room, so that noise levels in the early hours were virtually non-existent. Although the bedroom was very clean, it was showing signs of wear, noticeable mainly in our ensuite. The taps were very hard to turn off, the pedestal basin cracked, and the shower tap, again very hard to turn off. This with some of the seating in the lobby area, could be doing with an upgrade / replacing. Minor points maybe, hopefully the hotel will rectify, but it certainly would not stop us from returning or recommending this hotel. The plus points far outway the minus.
