Nice clean room and good breakfast.
Can't understand on this stay why we could not get a drink after 11pm .
Everything was close by. Lovely view from the bedrooms. A nice little get away from the kids.
The bed was a bit small, so I had a sleepless night due to tossing and turning.
Good location, friendly helpful staff, nice clean cosy room and breakfast for s very reasonable price. Would definitely stay again.
excellent breakfast comfortable bed would recomend to anyone
Location was good for beach and restaurants
Shower room very small Wifi didn't work in our room
The location, so close to shops, the harbour, and shopping area and eating places. Breakfast was fantastic and the view was great in the dinning room
I can't say there was anything I disliked during our stay.
Room clean, bed very comfy, had a double bed instead of a single
NO WIFI!!! even though they said there was I was unable to connect for the whole of my stay (3 nights) Room was at the back end of the hotel. toiletries were only put out on the first day ( 2 sachets of shampoo/shower gel) they were so small I used them in one go and didn't get any more after that. MAKE YOU OWN breakfast - toast, tea, coffee - they didn't serve anything. only choice was bacon, egg, sausage, beans and fried bread. No scrambled/boiled or poached eggs or anything like that, no yogurts or bananas
Breakfast was nice, room was bit small bit ok nice clean and comfy road noise was awfull but we were on main road side.
Location lovely comfortable room nice friendly staff.
Breakfast had a tendency to be very chaotic. people queing for toast and hot water for tea constantly. Tea pots would be preferable. On our last morning we were in the dining room just after 8.30 only to find there were no sausages/fried bread/bacon. When we asked we were told the frier was now off. They did bring more bacon but that was all.so a dissapointing breakfast but that is the only negative issue.
large, comfortable room, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Good location, no nonsense check in, loved room being dual aspect and french doors to the car park and pathway to the seafront. Lovely bathroom. Good breakfasts and plenty of it.
A vey welcoming hotel, spacious rooms and very clean throughout, good breakfast, friendly staff. Perfect. We will be booking again in the future for sure.
The hotel was really clean and comfortable, well situated and the staff were friendly and helpful and we plan to stay there again soon .
The lift needs to be repaired this did not affect us as we are both fit and well but I can imagine it would be difficult for the elderly and for those with physical difficulty's .
Location , Staff
Great hotel. Lovely staff. Very nice room.
The bed was a bit soft. The big disappointment was breakfast. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and 3 fried ups in a row is a bit much. We would have liked to have some fruits and fresher item of food.
Lovely room/bathroom & view, comfortable bed. Staff very good, buffet breakfast a little confusing but good. Excellent value.
Breakfast items continually missing & having to ask, but overall good. Bar service not good.
Lovely hotel, lovely location, lovely and clean, staff friendly and helpful what more could you want. Will be going back again.
Floor tiles in bathroom slippery even when dry.
staff were very friendly, most helpful. Breakfast was lovely, so much of it. The hotel was very clean.
GOOD VALUE, COMFORTABLE
The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean with a v.good buffet breakfast
It was a quiet time of the year and the low occupancy detracted from the hotel atmosphere
Good breakfast, good parking and wifi, well placed in Torquay
Very small rooms. Beds uncomfortable. Could not take credit cards, allthough it was said on the web page
Freindly welcome. lovely room value for money great breakfast
Cost and location.
Window in bathroom jammed open and would not shut at all. No heater in bathroom and gas pipes protruding up from floor. Bathroom door would not close. So bathroom (in January) was freezing!! Nowhere to hang towels. Damp on ceiling in bedroom.
twin booked, family room given, shower problem as room furthest from boiler, 1 radiator no thermo, lift unavailable whole stay
