Location of hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly without being in your face. Cleanliness of room and bedding. Shower did let it down as looked old and room it was in, as was just a sliding door, but worked fine. |

Friendly staff. Central location compared with many budget hotels in Torquay. Room clean and everything you might expect. Basically relatively cheap two star but could be much better with small improvements. Food only average with small portions. Shower just a hose connected to taps - have to hold with one hand all time ! No shower curtain ! Room tight on size for two people. Main road location meant quite noisy. |

We were told that breakfast was served untill 10am. Turned up at 9.40 and were told in no uncertain terms that breakfast finished at 9.30 and there was nothing they were going to do about it! Not even a piece of toast and a drink...dispite the fact several people were still eating and we had been told by reception taht breakfast was sereved until 10am. Pretty awful customer service considering we had paid for the breakfast. Such incidents surprise me, how can these places forget that guests do matter! |

the pool was nice and warm, very friendly staff couldn't do enough for you especially kate behind the bar she was fantastic. The bathroom in our room didn't have a shower which is sad you would think that it would being a family room having to wait for everyone to have a bath is a real pain. could have done with more breaky other ok |

very enjoyable week end break good food value for money and the resident entertainer colin was very good. happy hour at the bar 8 to 9 made it avery good night . |
